ReplyDeleteThe guy is a clown but I'll agree with him here. Black people in leadership positions have to do something better than what they're doing to fix black culture. Until they change the philosophy that being ignorant, being uneducated, having kids at 15, relying on cradle-to-grave welfare, and not being employed is cool, then nothing changes with black people. They are getting worse, not better. Any advances they made around the 70's has peaked and they've regressed, having become more violent since. They really are like radical islam in that they simply are not compatible with society. If you don't like that prove me wrong.

ReplyDeleteIn KCMO, with two murders every week of the year, it gets hard to schedule vigils when there ISN'T a homicide taking place.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Sly's Crime Task Force could hire someone to try to schedule events so there's no overlap.
They certainly aren't doing anything that in any way impacts the level of violence in parts of the city.
Of course, neither are the over-hyped NoVa, Aim4Peace, or COMBAT programs that spend millions every year, or the endless fake nonprofits and self-appointed "activists".

The MSM, the Entertainment Industry, in the halls of Academe, 'Community leaders" and the legion of self appointed black "Race Police" in the streets support anarchy and the destruction of the Rule of Law.

ReplyDeleteUse CompStat the way it was designed and used in New York, flood high-crime areas with cops, stop worrying about losers like Black Lives Matter, StopKC, and all the other groups who have no responsibilities for anything other than getting some television face time, conduct completely justified searches for weapons, and get the thugs off the street. Repeat as necessary.
Look out for the regular east side folks who want nothing more than to work, raise their families, and live with some basic level of safety and security.

I attended a vigil last year for a 19 year old who was murdered on his front porch over a girl. That vigil was disrupted by gunfire. This is a regular occurrence in our city but media, city hall, and even many kc residents are failing to give real solutions to these problems the priority they need.
