Council Lady Heather Hall Poses Strong Questions Against Kansas City Transit Orientated Development Scheme

The so-called Kansas City was stalled by a powerful series of honest questions from the only avowed conservative, small biz advocate and fiscal hawk on the Council.

Streetcar Critics Bring Talk Of Toy Train Expansion To Full Stop

Remember that at the outset of this week mainstream media was pushing for streetcar expansion and then constant outages and a car crash provided a great deal of ammunition for voter advocates who fear another rigged election of a few hundred voters for transit funded by the entire city.

Council Lady Jolie Justus Serves As Mayor Sly's Top Development Advocate

The former Missouri State Senator made a reputation for touting LGBT rights against Republican opposition but her short time on the council has revealed that Council Lady Jolie Justus is just as supportive of developers, tax breaks and Mayor Sly's agenda in Kansas City.

Manny Abarca Working Harder Than Opponents In Missouri District 19 Race

His challenger Ingrid Burnett quit the school board but her connections and bit money might give her an edge in this election . . . However, Mr. Abarca is making a name for himself by hitting the pavement and meeting neighbors in his effort to win the Missouri Rep. contest.

Rising Tide Of Sewer Water On Kansas City Streets Reminds Voters About Infrastructure Deferred Maintenance

To be fair, there are puddles throughout the metro but Kansas City sewer water backup is just a bit worse as longstanding infrastructure repair continues to be delayed while City Hall remains more interested in working on a myriad of development schemes.

As always, this list has been compiled according to scientific TKC polling and market research data and it's a weekly comprehensive guide to local powerful people.

  1. I'm surprised there are any conservatives left in Kansas City at all.

It seems that democrats took over the place long ago and chased away most of their small businesses and taxpayers.

  2. I'm not against a transit policy but it should be available for the public to read before its passed and should be something that has input from residents.

The days of city hall railroading projects through are over.

  3. Wrong again T, Sly is the strongest. You just live here.

  4. The streetcar is good for Kansas City. Don't keep hating on it, KC will keep our momentum going forward and won't be stopped by the haters. Sorry Tk.

  5. When Kansas City floods .... that is, every time it rains hard ... you can smell it.

This is the "Paris of the Plains."

Do they have floating turds in the streets of Paris?

Visit Kansas City ... like Calcutta, only filthier. And with GREAT barbecue.

24 million tourists a year can't be wrong.

  7. If you want low property taxes and other special deals you move-live downtown (TDD) now. Or Hyde Park, Northeast, other less than desirable areas where they don't pay their fair share of property taxes is another option.

  8. Piggy at the trough (Jolie "Just Us") kicked in the arse by Heather Hall. Finally a woman with courage to stand up to rapey Sly and his gag-a-lot method of ramming his agenda.

    Jolie The Joke.

  11. My orientation is not interested in transportation interests. My orientation is not interested in tax breaks for people who want to put high rise development at every other corner and then demand that a form of transit be built for the people who will be moved into the rabbit hutches.
I can walk almost as fast as the trolley. My bike is twice as fast with out effort, as the trolley. The bus takes me from Plaza to City Hall in 23 minutes. Transit should follow development not the other way around.
I am tired of listening to Planners talking about development of Transit Nodes when what they are talking about is tearing down existing development and redeveloping so the profit and property changes hands.

  12. I'd fuck Heather Hall in her ass. Then cum all over her face and tits.

  13. Jezuz 12:37 get some mental help already.

  14. Everybody knows that the only real power player left in this town is Fire Fighter Captain Sherwood Smith. This is a guy who always worked at the busiest stations and knows how to put out the fires on the political side, too. He is the first African American president of the Fire Fighters in the US, and he is grooming the next mayor, Teresa Loar, and is the only Democratic power player in Jackson County. He's so powerful that even the Republicans need his say-so to get it done. Just ask any fireman, they'll tell you he is "that guy". When Toxic Tim couldn't get the fire fighters contract across the finish line, they brought in the big gun, to get it done.
