Blunt wins big. Kander doesn't play well outside Jackson and St. Louis County.
ReplyDeleteVeterans are not required by law to go to the VA. I can see the local VA from my front porch, but I've only been there once. I prefer the city clinic. I only have to wait about five minutes to be seen by a doctor.
ReplyDeleteThe blind Byron can see the local VA from his front porch. Priceless

BL'YIN' BYRON - (lies about being blind)
I never said I was blind, you ignorant fucks.
ReplyDeleteBut, then, I wouldn't want you assholes to like me.
I actually was not offended about the Disneyland comment. That is exactly the kind of stupid shit you expect from a bureaucrat who has little knowledge of his own operation. What pissed me off was afterwards whenb he got in front of the press and claimed the jillions of VA employees have spent two years working tirelessly to improve VA services. That statement is an indisputable crock of shit.
ReplyDeleteLittle to nothing has changed nor will it as long as we keep on doing the same old shit the same old way. The VA simply needs to go and veterans should just be allowed to carry a card to the local medical facility or pharmacy.
You can not kill the decades of bad culture that has been programmed into hundreds of thousands of bureaucrats at the VA. It is not going to change for the better. However, the VA has got to stop the PR bullshit and lying. The fact is that patient notes and record falsification/lying/fabrication goes on every day at the VA. Wait times on serious medical conditions and surgeries have not improved on bit. No one at the VA listens to patients any more than they used to. Patients are there to justify jobs - they are not going to get real healthcare.
Get beyond flu shots, pills and basic medic shit and the VA clowns are like ducks out of water. That is why so often the VA farms out serious medical work to the locals. What Uncle Sugar needs to do is eliminate the dozen bureaucrats that shuffle the paperwork and delay and just refer vets directly to a local practitioner.
The VA needs to be dismantled. Tax payers would save billions every year and the vets could reduced scores of wasted VA appointments into cost effective medical treatment.
A most excellent comment, & actually about the post!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tony!
ReplyDeleteKander will win a surprise victory. He will shock Missouri!
