TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! JACKSON COUNTY CONFRONTS IMAGE CRISIS AMID UPCOMING ELECTION!!!

Right now there's more than a bit of speculation, gossip and intrigue about all things Jackson County despite a dearth of real challenges to the status quo.

To wit . . .

LET'S CELEBRATE THIS RUN DOWN OF ALL THE JACKSON COUNTY TOPICS CURRENTLY CAPTIVATING RESIDENTS FRUSTRATED WITH ANTICS @ THE COURTHOUSE!!!

First up . . . Money talks . . .

More Jackson County Assessment Anger

People are always angry about property taxes and our blog community has been FIRST to note billing controversies and other longstanding complaints.

Here's what to look for next . . .

ALMOST A MILLION BUCKS IN MISSING CASH COULD CREATE MORE JAXCO CONTROVERSY ACCORDING TO INSIDERS!!!

Brief aside . . . Even the location of the JaxCo Assessment hot mess is ruffling feathers among locals angry about dealing with high valuations.

Frankly, TKC doesn't want to know any more about this story and we hope the smooth operators at the County can make this one disappear . . . That kinda cash makes taxpayers angry but it's chicken feed to the local ruling class who are already preparing spin on this topic. If/when it breaks . . . Remember that we clued you in FIRST.

And then . . .

Rock Island Rail Corridor Money Train Talk

Questions linger about contracts and leadership of this vaporware operation that has excited NOBODY about the prospect of moving people back and forth from Meth Town. What's concerning here is the OVERALL ABSENCE OF ANY PUBLIC OVERSIGHT OR ACCOUNTING FOR THIS QUASI-GOVERNMENT BODY AND THE MONEY THEY CONTROL. We're trying to leave personalities and politicos out of this for now . . . Just the fact that government entity is operating without checks or balances should concern voters who don't want to take orders to "move on" from the likes of Legislator Crystal Williams.

Finally . . .

Feds Still Hanging Around???

Yep, word about more interviews from the feds travels fast and again TKC doesn't want to know if these are polite conversations or serious talks . . . But the increasing gossip signals a growing problem . . .

Like him or not, Former Exec Mike Sanders gave the impression that he was running a tight ship at the County. Even though he left on a down note, for the most part he was regarded as squeaky clean and something of a reformer . . . The same can't be said of Exec Frank White.

Accordingly . . .

A CLOUD OF CORRUPTION TALK NOW LOOMS OVER THE COUNTY AND IT LOOKS LIKE FRANK WHITE COULD BE THE FALL GUY FOR DEALS HE BARELY UNDERSTANDS OR DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT AT ALL!!!

To put it simply and despite weekly lawsuit threats from the vast array of politicos affiliated with the courthouse: Once again Jackson County government seems to be taking on a negative perception among voters and it seems that baseball glory days might not be enough to convince locals otherwise over the coming weeks and months.

Developing . . .

Comments

  1. Frank White the fall guy? It has a ring to it but I don't like the sound of it.

  2. Nobody running against jean or frank?

County is now worse than the school district.

    Welcome to amateur night.

  3. Here's what you don't know TKC: The Star doesn't like Frank as much as they did Mike.

He can't hire them all and he's not as good at spin as Sly.

Funny how they both got in media hot water over their sons at the outset of their tenure.

  4. Frank White is just another political asshole. If he had any sense his current staff would be gone. They use him shamefully. His kid made out okay. Better than actually working.

  5. If you live downtown and are in with the right people, support the trolley, your property tax assessments work like this.

    2011 - 1,090,592
    2016 - 696,500

  6. Frank White is a "ball-boy:" Frank gets to wear the uniform but at the end of the day he just holds other guy's bats.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Frank's management style reminds everyone of Buckwheat. Nothing has changed. All Mike's crew is OH-TAY!

Troy, signs all the checks to Mike that Mike wants. Frank never even asks what's going on. Cal calls the shots; including, parochial assessments for special friends of Skippy. Angie starts drinking about 11 AM and can't balance her bulk on her tree trunk legs by 4 PM. Miriam spends her days inspecting the County's vintage clothing stores and estate sales; just like she did for years under Mike. No one communicates with the public or the news media anymore. Nothing has changed. They all still answer calls from Mike like he is running the show because he is running the show.

That was almost very funny but that would make him a BAT BOY and not a BALL BOY. Read it before you hit send next time.

I think we need to tell people that Frank played baseball at every chance we get.

That railroad "authority" deserves more attention than it has received. Of course, you Dixiecrats are too stupid to do anything like that. Skippy will have more power to tax, spend, and steal property than any elected official in this region when he takes over as "counsel" to that railroad entity. His father-in-law's cronies will make a killing on this. Of course, the FBI will not figure that out.

  11. The clips from the 85 World Series played at the "State of the County" speech was pretty gratuitous. Frank needs to grow up if he wants to be taken seriously. I doubt that will happen.

    Cheerlead much?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Frank already is a disappointment. The only real answer, sadly, is to support insurgent candidates that are not part of the status quo like Bernie. The only county opportunity is Brice Stewart v. "sexual harasser" Sharp this August in the sheriff primary. Brice may not be perfect, but at least he will be better than what we currently have.

    1. It's always worms like you that have loud mouths with nothing to back it up just like your hero Brice what's his name. Couldn't hold a candle to Mike Sharp and to come at him with dirty politics shows the low life he is. Can win on your own merits. And if you knew anything about the sexual harassment charges you would know there not against mike you idiot. And it was the county Attorny who settled not mine so get your stories strieght asshole

  14. Five Alarm Money Laundering4/8/16, 10:35 AM

What about Frank's acceptance of money directly from Skippy Sanders in 2014 through the TRUMAN LEADERSHIP PAC? Of course some of that money was always meant to be laundered into Skippy's personal bank account by Terry Riley for the usual 20 percent handling fee. Maybe those federal investigators should talk with Mr. Riley? After that, they can talk to Ken McClain (Skippy's GENEROUS Law Partner), Charles Laue at Asurion and Quinn Capital Management in order to find out why they gave to Skippy's shadow committee?

  15. Professor Warman! Good to see you posting, and thanks for coming to the young Dem's event for Bernie! We will reach out to you soon.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Brice needs to put in a Freedom of Information Act request for the documents dealing with the negotiations and settlements made necessary by the Sheriff's sex parties and Hugh Mills' retrograde behavior. Get the documents and send them right to Tony.

  17. Sharp was sending nudie pictures of his second ex-wife around for a while.

I see that fucking with Local 42 and Taxpayers eventually comes back to haunt guys like Sanders.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Boy howdy that guy sure could turn two back in the day.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I see some people are still outwardly jealous with the immense success of Mike Sanders. Well, get used to it. The guy is knocking down massive money at one of the top 10 plaintiff's firms in America. Sorry the world has worked out differently for you.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sanders was the best CE the county will see in my lifetime, but that isn't setting the bar very high I'm afraid as most of them have been total zeros. Time will tell on Frank, but the "hiring" of his son and the failure to report the "accidental" jail release of a murderer are both serious strikes his fist time up to bat.

  22. Change can be the best elixir for the populace in their quest for real reform. Often times, the reformer is intentionally diverted from their path by the status quo.

  23. The problem is that no matter how many paragraphs are typed over the derelicts at the county nothing is going to be done. People just don’t have a cause here. They are lethargic when it comes to acting on real issues. Hired guns have no problem getting gassed over a freaking Trump speech, but ask them to protest the rigged property tax assessments or organize to stop the E Tax and you might as well be hammering your nutsack with a wrecking ball. Folks love to go and blow and bitch and moan, but effective action? Shit, you can't even get these local herkiners to make a phone call or write a letter. Apparently the tax payers just love corruption and non-responsive government. they do everything they can to validate the behaviours.

Has anyone ever audited how many committees that Sanders really controlled (controls)?

  25. 11:29 so sad, so true...laugh to keep from crying is the laggard's mantra.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I do not see how Sanders was seen as so clean. He sent his aide Angie Jefferies to people like me to try to extort product for his July 4th and Christmas Parties in the parks. Make no mistake it was a shakedown.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Unless Williford, Hennosy, Nixon, Panethiere and Newman are let go White is not serious.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Jury is out of Frank, but the early returns are not stellar. I like Frank, but the hatefulness, entitlement attitude and sheer laziness of the employees connected to the county (see the above posts) will ruin that man. Exhibit 1: Carol Lillis, who has posted several of the anti-Frank comments above while drawing a huge unearned salary.

    ReplyDelete
  29. County employees are the worst in the Midwest.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Carol Lillis and her entire family are raging racists. Filth of the lowest degree.

  31. Then they all must comment on this blog all the time.

  35. Yawn. Where is the update on Toni Bones?

  36. 3rd District4/8/16, 4:16 PM

Would Carol Lillis or Michele Newman have ever earned a legal nickle had it not been for the two bitches who gave birth to them? Listen, we know both families hate us, and guess what: We hate them.

  37. The feds are long gone. So you can stop with that bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  38. WHat's worse are the legislators who hire their friends/mistresses and dont expect them to show up at work. What a scam they got going.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Some say the feds are always around KC government. It's a way of life.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I think the feds tutor the KC government. AND The gimmedats...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Such a sad situation. I think we can trace this back to Shields and her days at the county. We need to do better, we can't have a branch of government with so many problems.
