KANSAS CITY WATER BILL DOUBLE TIME!!!

Keep this fun fact handy whenever we're talking about subsidy for multi-millionaire developers and crony corporate capitalists: Kansas City residents to pay more than double for water bills

Comments

  1. They should use dedicated transit taxes and all the future tax money from developments that never happen to pay my water bill. GENUISCK

  2. So, rent goes up....

    ReplyDelete
  3. They should reverse the city governments list of priorities and that should solve a lot of waste and fix a lot of infrastructure. The basic things folks and families look at when moving to a city pretty much score a big ZERO in Kansas Shitty....unless, of course, you are a coon.

  4. If electeds who are too cowardly and dishonest to charge what services actually cost, and instead hold rates artificially low for years for purely political popular reasons.
And then pay little to no attention or spend what's needed on routine and even preventative maintenance, large rate increases are inevitable, just to keep the system running.
Of course, water and sewers are just boring basic services that KCMO residents and businesses actually count on and not a part of some grandiose development or renaissance scheme, so don't expect the folks at 12th and Oak to pay the slightest attention to them.
    How's Mike's new hotel coming?

  5. And to think that you dumbass clods just voted to give away 1% of your income on top of all the other scams the city is running.

    Fucking rube retards.

  6. It's about "priorities" so the sheep must be frightened into paying higher and higher rates to keep the rackets going. The big bad EPA is coming for you! We're following the law! It takes time! Don't ask questions! Everything is Frosty!

    June 2014

Kansas City is promoting economic growth by building a new sewer line through 13,000 acres of underdeveloped prime real estate.

The City of Kansas City, Mo., has long had its eye on developing the Northland, an area located north of the Missouri River. The city’s ambitious First and Second Creek Sewer Expansion Project is a $45 million investment in an area that is expected to attract hundreds of businesses and more than 70,000 residents over the next three decades.

  7. Uh I thought we are supposed to be fixing things not putting in new sewer lines up North to attract developers.

    What a freaking clusterfuck.

  8. This is another fraud being perpetrated on the residents. Is there a way to determine if all of the residents, businesses, entertainment venues, sports entities, etc. are paying water and sewer usage and all of the made fees that are attached to these services?

    ReplyDelete

  9. Why not have a dedicated tax for the water issues. I guess it is easier to steal money from the Water Department than from dedicated taxes.

  10. ^^^ Sly is the worst thing that has ever happened to Kansas City and it's a shame that he is still in office.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It's an illegal tax. Has nothing to do with service...clearly.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I have never seen a place where citizens continue to reward a local government for outdoing the failures of the last pack of slugs. Unfucking believable! Do you redneck ass hats ever get enough?

    ReplyDelete
  13. ...but we need a new airport!

    ReplyDelete
  14. ...and just got to protest Trump 'cause there is nothing more fucked up around here.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yeah 4:36, the airport is paid for by water fees, just like the toy train. SMERTCK!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Naw just E Tax that gets moved around alot. Just watch as we eliminate emergency responders that the E Tax was going to save.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I just tickled shitless KC kept those property taxes low.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The $40 million the City spent for new sewers at Twin Creeks should have instead been invested in replacing our existing lines.

  19. Just the Fact shes a Degenerate Liberal, killed the story !!

Liberals will say anything to push their phony agenda

Tho I notice 1 thing missing from her supposed report - TAXES !!!

Notice these Lib'Tards never ever bring up "TAXES", rarely ever !

So lets look at some of these Missouri TAXES !
1ST we have the KCMO City income TAX
then we have ALL the TAXES that are figured into our Utility bills along with User Fee Taxes and any other language they can muster into the utility bills, to hide the Fact its another TAX
On top of that, theres the State TAXES figured into utility bills in some fashion or another.

Then theres the Rising PROPERTY TAXES if you actually own a home or any other type of property
Then theres the TAXES on your Vehicle every year or 2 years
    Personel Property Taxes
Followed by the SALES TAX if when you purchase a Vehicle

Then lets jump over to the Gasoline TAX their always trying to rqaise to mis-spend and re-allocate
    Then the TAX on Food
Instead of Little Kiki focusing on low wages at fast food joints, which were never meant to support an entire family of 4 or 5, for those 25 years of age under who couldn't keep their little pecker wrapped and spit out those little rugrats.
NOTICE NOT 1 of these Lib'Tards is ever interested in lowing everybodys TAXES on things or doing away with some of these TAXES so that the citizen / workers would actually be able to keep & retain some of their money to actually benefit themselves and their familys quality of living !
PRIME EXAMPLE - Kansas City, Missouri Sly James and his City Hall cronies :
They are in FAVOR of raising the min. wage to $15.00 an hour
Yet they just recently raised their KCMO WATER BILL Rates for every resident in KCMO,, more than Tripling your WATER BILLS

To the average KCMO Resident will NOW be "paying $110..00 a month" or more and these New Water Rates will continue to "increase every year" for the "next 19 years", until it reaches $230.00 dollars a MONTH in year 2035 !
essentially, your going to PAY KCMO a whole lot of Money for WATER rather you actually use that amount of water or not.
Basically, its like pulling into a gas station and being billed $100.00 for Gasoline, even tho your tank can only hold 25 gallons, your gonna PAY regardless of what you actually can hold/ use !

NOW do we hear anything from any of these "LIB'TARD TAX Happy bastards" about lowering any of these TAXES ?
    We Don't do we ?
All we ever hear is how they want more & more & more of this and that and more of whatever
So back to the $15.00 an hour Wages
So they VOTED to give it to you over a period of years to get it up to $15.00 an hour
Then these "Tax Happy Lib'Tard Bastards" Voted behind closed doors almost secretly to take it right back away from you and into their pockets to benefit themselves secretly little pet projects or whatevers.
Enjoy your NEW High Dollar KCMO Water Bils in KCMO and that $15.00 an hour wage, you now get to give it right back to the very idiots that just voted to increase your wage - so essentially, Your right back to where you started in the 1st place , maybe even worse !
that average WATER BILL of "$110.00 a MONTH", going to EAT up that Raise you just got, and its every Month too, and will increase every year for 19 years - think about that , Digest that - do the math on that $
So just Exactly what did these LIB'TARD Liberals do for you again ???

Keep in mind as TONYS KC BLOG Clearly points out on his page to the far right side,,, if you care to read what TONY put there
that KCMO city hall LIBERALS want another $27 MILLION Dollars to "Pump & Dump" into that Failed 18th Vine JAZZ District
Wake the Sam Fuck Up !!!

  20. I would love to have a $110 water bill. Just my husband and I and our water bill for the last 3 months has $14 5.No we do not have a water leak. We do not water our yard anymore. How can this be. My daughter with 3 people in Raytown is $35 a month. They get water from KCMO as well as Overland Park. Everyone I know that gets their water from KCMO pays way less. Shoudn't we be charging those municipalities more? They will be raising property taxes over this just a matter of time. I have wanted to move for so long. With the earnings tax and now this for sure it is time. I could move 2 blocks away and be in Raytown and get water for $40 bucks a month! That's a savings of $1200 per year. When we moved here I thought we were in Raytown.
