Clay County Political Slap-Fight Continues

Somebody wrote this in the comment awhile ago and it was genius . . . "The fighting is so vicious, because the stakes are so low." Accordingly, check this news that's getting a good chuckle from our blog community: "The petition alleges misuse of county tax dollars stemming from birthday cards, “accountability cards,” and coupons for Jesse James Farm and Museum that were sent to Clay County citizens." 1. Ridgeway can't raise money for her reelection, so she is using taxpayer dollars to get reelected. Course her committee on the MO Ethics site shows 20,000 on hand but more in debt and how can she continue carry that debt now over four years old.....another complaint on the way.

  2. Both Ridgeway and Owen need to go. Voters also need to make sure Pam Mason doesn't make it out of the primary

  3. Unfortunately, Mason has a religious fundamentalist running against her in the primary, she will sweep him and Owen.

  4. How many times has Mason been fired by Clay County voters now? Can't the woman find a job and stop living off the taxpayers?

  5. Too funny, Owen was elected in the 1980's, Ridgeway has been in office since 1992 and Mason 1/2 of that so it looks like she is the best choice, Jason

  6. What happened to transparency in government that Luann promised? There's another Clay County hypocrite!

  7. Transparency according to Luann is speak it but hide the real facts and details.....
