MO House Rep. Brandon Ellington Confronts Racial Problems At University Of Missouri

Practical advice and insight from one of Kansas City's most independent and prolific elected officials. Rep. Ellington's statement reminds us that it's not student protest but the horrible reaction from the Administration which has led to problems at the University of Missouri including an enrollment drop and a bond downgrade. Lawmaker says Mizzou not doing enough to address racial problems

  1. Of course your commenters will spin this but if you really look at what Ellington is saying, he wants the administration to do their job and even Trump has said the same thing when he said he was "sickened" by the actions of MU officials.

  2. There might be institutional racism that lingers at MU.

But there is DEFINITELY institutional stupidity that chose to let this crisis get to a boiling point and draw national attention because the administrators were such cowards about listening to student complaints.

  3. Another reason to pick KU over this SEC school.

The acronym "SEC" and the term "school" really looks odd in the same statement.

  5. No problems with diversity in the engineering school, half the professors are minority. But they're Asian, mostly, so that doesn't count.

  6. Meanwhile KU continues to rise in the rankings and are about ready to finish the construction on their $100 million KU School of Business.

Will MU even be the best school in Missouri in 10 years?

  7. Don't worry tax payers coons will keep screaming "Racism" until they get colleges set up like the state high schools - they wont have to even show up to pass their classes and graduate.

  8. Well, what do you think you MIZZOU alumni?

Gonna be good little CUCKS and keep those donations going to your esteemed alma mater?

  9. meh, this isn't news. it's the same blah blah you hear from every black elected official. what would be news is if an elected black actually spoke the truth.

  10. "Addressing institutional racism" are code words for establishing racial quotas and funneling money to "diversity training" that indoctrinates students with propaganda. The real result is that racial shakedown artists pocket big bucks and influence.

  11. Again...

I don't know any big donors to MU, but one of my best friends, a big MU fan and graduate, does. He gave me the name of a guy, who with his 6 friends have paid for front row seats at football and basketball games since, wait for it---1950.The guy's name didn't mean anything to me and I didn't google it during the conversation, but, rest assured, he is a big hitter. The man not only cancelled his seats, he also called the University and told them they could forget his "7 figure" bi yearly donations.

Everyone that I know, who went to MU, including my daughter, is sickened by this farce and the pathetic pandering to the narcissistic, self absorbed, "Black Lives Matter" buffoons. Their specious, fallacious and pernicious charges are the usual Racial Hoax bullshit that the Media thrives and makes bank on. Without exception, every MU Grad I know, is loathe to wear the MU Gear and is either no longer mentioning the School, or, is reticent at best when MU is mentioned.

The University is and should be suffering for the obsequious and pusillanimous behavior exhibited by administrators, professors and politicians when confronted by intellectual midgets with 3rd grade educations, elevated to collegiate matriculation, by way of the color of their skin in African American and Gender Studies classes which my dog could pass/fail with ease, by just showing up and scratching his nuts during the lectures.

I hope the pain is real and deep.

By the way, Taco Bell, according to CNN, is the number one donor to "Black Lives Matter".

    Fuck them too.

Fuck "Angie's List too, they are big supporters.

  12. If things keep going the way thay are at MU the next stop for MU athletics will be the Southwestern Athletic Conference due to the school being all black.

"a true hero in tge Democrat War on Whites".

  18. Ellington threatens that he is going to do this, that and the other unless MU knuckles under. This should be obvious even to you, E: you do not have the legislative power or influence to accomplish any of your threats. Now off to the far back benches with you!

  22. Why doesn't MO & KS outlaw discrimination against all racial groups like other states have done? No race should be discriminated against including whites...no more quotas in hiring and admissions!

  23. Because there are libtards!

  24. Ellington was bitching about having to pay some fees at kcmo pub school, saying "this information needs to be disseminated' dude plz, its not time to bust out your showboat cointelpro vocab, just shut it*sx

  25. MU now equals Lincoln University, for the quality of their educational programs. Who the hell would send anyone to this shithole??

  26. Never looking forward. It is all about the past. Keep us the victim. That is how they stay in elected office. God forbid we learn finance, wealth and the ability to say "I deserve better than what I am surrounding myself with so time to move on. Oh and you too Mr. or Mrs. Democrat also haven't done shit for our community. I will not pay any of your salaries or pensions."

Vote them all out. Every one. Leave your lame ass running buddies in the past. Pick up a book. Quit working for someone else. Make your own money. Pay yourself first.
