Kansas City Week In Review Right Now

Take a look at the Kansas City newsie elite talking the top issues of the week . . . Actually a pretty good discussion this time around.

Here's the description:

"Nick Haines, Lynn Horsley, Eric Wesson, Steve Vockrodt and Dave Helling discuss airline reaction to a recent KCI renovation proposal, the convention hotel lawsuit, Johnson County and Wyandotte County business development projects, the Helzberg TIF project, Google Fiber and reaction to KCPT's Crime Caucus."

Take a look . . .

  1. How bout more of a variety of internet nonsense today on this blog for a change of pace.

Pictures of flat chested chicks for example, maybe a feature on the garbage men of KCMO

  4. This program was actually good this time.

Steve Vockrodt is excellent as usual, and the rest are now correctly verbalizing the reality of an angry public. Helling, Horsley, and Wesson would be wise to continue focusing on the overwhelming frustration among the electorate, as it should continue at least all year.

I've always said that Nick Haines is one of KC's best presenters, while I faulted him for then failing to follow through with tough questions for his guests. The recent documentary regarding the Troost Divide has given Mr. Haines an opportunity to redeem himself, and he did quite well with the program following the documentary.

  5. Excellent panel, excellent discussion - managed to cover a lot of topics with decent amount of time devoted to each - and equally balanced between MO and KS - Helling continues to tell it like it is and Horsley contributed more than she usually does - her hair needs a 21st century update but her inputs were insightful
