ReplyDeleteThe Winchester TIF ran for many years after all the "allowable costs" were paid and the residents who were promised sewers were stiffed. And over $20 million was accumulated and would have continued if it weren't for the Raytown Schools Superintendent.

These boondoggles being closely scrutinized, monitored, and closed down appropriately is a rarity.

Quinton Lucus will say anything. All Tiff projects eventually come back onto the tax roles. That's the design of the program. What an idiot!
