Why is there no registration of these thieves? Why is there NO complaint record kept at City Hall. They should be licensed to work in Kansas City MO. and if they pull stuff like this they should be dropped so they can not work in the city limits.

ReplyDeleteAnother thing tow companies like to do is tow it to their lot if you are trying to decide where to have your car fixed. There you'll get to find out how much their storage fee is and that the tow to another location is of course a separate tow. Leave it there a week and then sign your papers over to them which is what my son in law ended up doing. A 2000 dollar vehicle is not worth 4000 of tow and storage. Like they said, get a quote up front.

There is a crooked ass hole in Independence on Truman Road that tows and impounds. Someone at the city is getting a kickback. If your car is stolen; I don't give a shit if it is located two blocks from your house and you would walk over and drive your car home, those crooked IPD fucks will tow your fucking car ten miles across town and that crooked ass will bill you 350 - 400 bucks for bending you over.

ReplyDeleteI was in a car accident last Saturday. The responding officer called for a tow for me. He said the tow companies they call are under contract with a set amount to be charged. The charge was $265. The tow driver also dropped me off at my house.
