Fair play, while protesters in Kansas City have been disruptive, they've been mostly non-violent with few arrests and clashes betwixt police and organizers have been minimal.
Sadly, over the past year police relations with SOME social justice denizens and members of the community have grown strained as a spiking homicide count has erased last year's claims of progress against violent crime via "community engagement" tactics.
And now that even the Pope is calling B.S. on Christmas . . . This impending protest could draw more attention away from excitement over flipping the switch for a celebration of consumerism, generic corporate fare and cheap Chinese goods.

I don't understand this protest movement. The way to earn sympathy for a cause is not to go around being loud and obnoxious, ruining events for regular folk. I trust no one in the BLM movement has a marketing background.

The cops have permitted BLM to illegally take over the street there, in front of the station house.
The whites who shot five BLM terrorists should be given a medal. Note that if the police had done their job in the first place, there wouldn’t have been a BLM encampment for any whites to try and clean up.
Note that earlier reports claimed that the BLM terrorists were trying to “herd” out of the area whites who were demonstrating against them. BLM had no legal right to infringe upon anyone’s First Amendment rights, and “herd” is newspeak for assault. I went to the lighting ceremony tonight and the weather sucked. I only had one bad encounter and it was with a black male security guard. Why is his race important? I don't know but when a white cop kills a black person the media, especially the KC Star, tells me that race is important. Even though I just wanted to ask him a question regarding why I couldn't walk down a public sidewalk he decided to be a complete asshole so we exchanged pleasantries. I gave him the bird and he gave me the universal shoot your ass with sideways gun sign popular with the gangstas. From his attitude my guess is that he was pissed he had to work a crappy night in the rain with a bunch of asshole rich white folk, especially in this current racial environment we find ourselves. But I'm a not rich white guy, I know my right to walk down a public sidewalk that my tax dollars paid for and despite not being a badass, I am not intimidated by those who try to use their size/race to intimidate or bully those they despise for whatever twisted reason. I treat people the way they treat me regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. I suggest security guard asshole do the same or find a position where you don't deal with a diverse group of people.
