LOL!
In a moment, the hopes and dreams of Kansas City's bright shining World Series winning future are gone.
Turns out . . .
- No, Ned Yost isn't a genius.
- The Royals aren't destined to win the World Series, they are going to have a HARDER TIME this season.
- The slump continues, just like TKC TOLD YOU, this team peaked around the All-Star Game.
Here's the only headline that matters . . .
New York Times: McHugh Pitches Astros to 5-2 Win Over Royals to Open ALDS
What's important to remember is that in a short series like this, the team that comes out to the early lead usually wins it. In fact, 8 times out of 8 in the last go round the team winning game 1 claimed the series . . . Or whatever.
The point here is that Kansas City isn't the scrappy underdog that everybody is rooting for . . . The Royals are the bully team that got too arrogant too fast.
We'd love to know how our blog community feels about this devastating loss that not only speaks to pro-sports doom but also offers an apropos analogy for to much hype that powers Kansas City biz and politics overall.
Developing . . .
You just can't help but gloat.
ReplyDeleteDon't be that guy.
Be the good guy. The guy who believes. The guy who has a kind word for everyone. Be somebody who people like and want to help. Not the smart aleck.
Be better TKC, this isn't the real you. This is just a performance and not one that this city needs right now.

ReplyDeleteTell that shit to all the dead kids who were shot this year.
Hey, at least we can cheer for the Chiefs.
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahahaahahaha!
What a friggin' ass hole.
ReplyDeleteTwo years ago, you were bitching because they could not win 60 games.
Now, you gloat because you wish for them to lose in the playoffs.
Young children in the metro disappointed, but you can find it in yourself to be gleeful because you hate all things local.
Other then the cum guy and the handful of bigot who seem to enjoy your hate, no one would be hurt if you moved to Houston.
I'd love to see how you would fare in Texas.
Royals will win this thing, TKC will be proven WRONG!
ReplyDeleteThat opener hurts.
ReplyDeleteBut ... All I've wanted, for years and years, was for the ownership to bring in management and players who would give the Royals a chance to really compete. Sure, I want a title, but mostly I am thrilled that our team has a genuine shot.
Go, Blue!
Only a true loser finds solace in another's failings.
ReplyDeleteWORD ^^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for the Astros that I cannot contain myself.
ReplyDeleteTony & Byron = Asslovers
ReplyDeleteByron.... Omar Mark Pettigen. Explain that cock sucker. You can't, enjoy the cock.
ReplyDeleteOff topic 12:35
ReplyDeleteIf he were white you would say that he's mentally ill, but since he's black, you put him out there as a typical representative of his race.
You're white, but that doesn't mean that all whites are ignorant, racist assholes. You don't represent us, & he doesn't represent them. God, you racist are fucking stupid.
And I'm not a cock sucker, dumb ass.
I saw a documentary on PBS tonight where social scientists proved that, & why, poor people have more compassion than rich people.
ReplyDeleteThey also showed that poor people are more generous than the middle class, & the rich. Our survival depends on community, as cooperation, & so we respond with more thought of community.
They demonstrated how, & why, the rich are so arrogant, greedy & selfish.
This is what I watched instead of a baseball game.
Us "racists" dwell in a fact-based world of proof, the proof of nigger subhumanity that slaps us in the face daily. At least we known the solution.
ReplyDeletePBS? The Libtard Broadcasting System?
ReplyDeleteWhat I resent is you jock sniffers wasting public money for your subsidized entertainment, while public and charity hospitals are turned into corporate profit centers and public education is allowed to be neglected and deprived of funding.
ReplyDelete^This guy.
Delete1:54 sports entertainment is not alone in tax helps. Casinos, resorts, lotteries, racetracks, concert halls, theaters and more get public funds. So, I guess pick your poison or passion.
ReplyDeleteOh right, you are that exercise and entertain yourself guy who posted "jock sniffer" disdain earlier. Good for you. Go take a hike.
TKC, I'm not sports nut, but at least the Royals have given this city something to anticipate and be proud about. KC's reputation is going downhill fast, and anything positive is welcome. Additionally, whether they win or lose (and I hope the win), they have played an impressive season and are one of the few things KC doesn't have to be ashamed about.
ReplyDeleteThey would have won if it wasn't for Sly and the kiddie corps kale renters because of their TOY TRAIN! Before Sly rammed this boondoggle down our throats the Royals were AL Champs and swept everybody!
ReplyDeletethe last game for both of KC's teams have been a suckfest -
ReplyDeletethe Chiefs Sunday loss -- with 7 field goals as their output -- was a snoozer-
last nites Royals loss was a horror -- thank goodness for Kendry's 2 HRs..or ..woulda been a shutout.
October and that was the 279th "TKC Told You So'. That includes 161 "TKC Told You So's that Skippy was being arrested, shackled and taken to a concentration camp for appointing a temporary phone answer"
ReplyDeleteTKC has proven himself to be full of shit. But then his 10.....wait, 9 regular readers know that.
Lame retort by Greedo, xalti, or another of Tony's anonymous replies in 3-2-1
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ the only what looks like a regular to me is that fucking shit stain Funkyass. So go ask mommy to change your diaper since it must be as full of shit as you are.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^^^^ ah Tony is awake. Window peeking again ? Word is there are charges either filed or soon to be filed.
ReplyDeleteAny "deets" on that window peep charges ?
ReplyDeleteTo all the Cheerleaders in this crowd...grow some!!
ReplyDeleteTKC is theater! Enjoy and move on!
Where's my NIGGER NEWS UPDATE? I desperately need to read about more subhuman jigaboo antics overnight! The stabbings! The murders! The deaths of infants and children! All bring much joy to my heart.
ReplyDeleteRoyals would have won it if the toy train had tracks running to the stadium.
ReplyDeleteBlacks lost it for the Royals. They ruin everything.
I would do lewd things to that Astros fan.
Do the Royals approve of unsolicited bulk email?
Yep, I think that about covers it.
What was this article about?
ReplyDeleteWhere is Tim Runnels?
ReplyDeleteheading out there this afternoon -- time to make some noise -- wake the Royals up - get 'em going -- it's only a 3 outta 5 series!
ReplyDeleteTony and his WE' staff would like to know how we can improve this google powered chose the burritos ghetto blog too!
ReplyDeleteIf your part of the TKC community, all six of us you decide!!!
The WE'... our highly trained specialists are standing by now!
LMAO!
ReplyDeleteOnly reason I come here is for the enjoyment of watching Tony make a complete idiot out himself daily.
ReplyDeleteDID TKC SAY: "but also offers an apropos analogy for to much hype that powers Kansas City biz and politics overall."
ReplyDeleteANALOGY ?....or for KCMO politics...."ANAL-OGY"
Mayor James is like a rookie team manager who's never done this job before, but thinks he can bullshit his way through with a little song and dance. Routinely, shows up in the dugout wearing a bowtie and bling, so out of shape that he gets winded walking from the clubhouse! WTF?
The old City Council is like a corrupt team that got caught taking bribes in order to throw games for their betting friends in the business community.
The new City Council is a mix of seasoned veterans hoping to extend their careers, along with some fresh-faced rookies who have the potential to develop into superstars. Heather Hall was overlooked by many scouts, but they failed to see her core principles of integrity and work ethic.....a hidden gem. Quinton Lucas was on most people's radar, and some fools prematurely predicted him as a future Golden Glove recipient, but receiving accolades for simply showing up at the ballpark will wear thin quickly....overrated carpetbagger? Shields and Loar are seasoned hitters who've had their good and bad seasons, and are hoping the magic returns for one more encore performance....trust your instincts and don't let the pitcher push you off the plate! Alissia Canady did her time in the minors, got the call to join the big leagues, and has the potential for a long successful career if she stays true to the fans (the voters).....solid consistent player if she avoids the corrupting influences?
^^^^^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteDamn good stuff right there!
Anybody got the deets on the window peeping arrest ? Just heard about it at P&L.
