You live that close to the hood it's to be expected. The people I know that live there don't lock their cars because they'll just break the windows. They've all had their license plates stolen multiple times. When I worked on Troost the hoodrats would steal literally anything.

ReplyDeleteHyde Park is integrated. Blacks, whites, Hispanics, immigrants from eastern Europe, etc. all own property there. No one is trying to raise their own property taxes. Duh! And raise your property taxes to join the HOA? That doesn't even make sense. The HOA is voluntary. (That means you can't be forced to join, idiot.) Dues are a WHOPPING $35 a year--less than $3 a month. For that you get a couple of clean up days a year with free use of Dumpsters, which, if you had to pay for on your own, would cost you more than $35. Of course, people like you just throw your trash on the street for others to pick up, so no big deal, right?
I hope you enjoy JOCO. Their loss is Hyde Park's gain. But try stealing one truck and do "2 breakin"s there, and you'll find your new neighborhood's going to be pretty much like your old one, and JOCO's full of mandatory HOAs.
