People build ugly buildings and five decades later they are still ugly. Its just that you aren't allowed to state the obvious.
ReplyDeleteHere's another obvious: The property owner's wishes are only an aside. Its not as if it were his to decide, but rather something that the whole community should have a say in. I would say that you could vote on it, but you people aren't smart enough to vote.
ReplyDeleteWhy does the 'whole community' have a say in whether they keep a little 6 plex? I think that should be the decision of the property owner. They should have the right to demolish the structures and build what they like.
ReplyDeletePeople in KC have a bad habit of thinking everything old is historic. The only thing noteworthy about these structures is that they were designed by a woman.
