Getting guns into the hands of janitors will help to avoid school shootings.
And wonder this Country is in a death spiral.
I say we just have racks of guns available on the shelves to be checked out like library books. Shotguns, pistols, and I always like the Mini 30. They just need to be left in a truck style gun rack along the walls so that anyone at any time can grab one if needed. It would make schools safer.

ReplyDeleteOn the other side, I am a gun owner and I am about responsible ownership. Took me weeks to get my car titled, should not be that big of a friggin deal, but again, it costs $$$$.
The culture of 2nd Amendment gun nutz is over the top. Waaaaaaaaaaay too many preppers and conspiracy theorists.
Guns were prohibited on the Oregon campus, and who would have thought it, but the CRAZY PERSON who was intent on killing people wasn't worried about the prohibition.
ReplyDeleteWhat's so hard to understand about the fact that criminals don't care what the law says, they will do want they want. With over 300 million existing guns in the US, banning lawful citizens from owning, carrying, an/or using guns will do ABOSOLUTELY NOTHING to prevent another crazy person from obtaining a gun if they want one. All it does is deny lawful citizens the ability to protect themselves. Remember, the supreme court has ruled that law enforcement personnel have NO DUTY to protect, and even if they did, they can't be everywhere at once and it doesn't take long for a nutcase to kill many people.

ReplyDeleteThe gun industry, like the auto industry, needs to take a proactive approach to this reality rather than wring their hands and tell nut bars that the next democrat is going to show up at your front door.
