  1. Tony's minions, get this one to 20 comments and be sure to mention the one time TKC was on Ruckus last year. Because you're still recovering from your jealousy after 12 months.

    But no nasty comments about Kay please, she is actually a very nice lady.

    Kay is the best Mayor KC has seen. Don't be a hater like your commenters TKC.

  7. It's Friday night. Sure she wasn't just some typical just out of college and in her first job girl heading to some beer guzzling doofus's house?

    ReplyDelete
  8. So what's the catch we're going to have to put up with some taxpayer subsidized monument to Kay? Maybe a hotel that looks like a giant trophy?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Giant sucking sound of taxpayer dollars being flushed down the toilet and into the septic tank known as the Downtown Toy Train TDD.

    ReplyDelete
  10. It looks like Kay Barnes is spending her Friday evening posting nice things about herself on TKC. Whodathunkit?

    When she was in office she would always say those who questioned the wisdom of her largesse (at taxpayer expense, of course) just didn't get it. It seems we will be getting in for many years to come. How much is the annual subsidy for the P&L again?

  11. There he goes again, thinks he's a psychic ...

  12. Fuck you sheep shagger

  13. What does bag holders anonymous think?

    ReplyDelete
  14. She is looking a little rough there, just think how bad it looks without makeup

    ReplyDelete
  15. Barnes assures us that she’s staying busy teaching at Park University, and she’s crazy in love with her Mercedes. Which she purchased, of course, from Aristocrat.

    ReplyDelete
  16. But wait, she still cares about us! By the end of the interview, did Barnes manages to squeeze in a plug for the plan to build a 1,000-room convention hotel?

    Is there a "my other car is a streetcar" sticker on the back of her Benz?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Kay Barnes led the push to revive .... to move/live downtown and then promptly built a house in Briarcliff.

    Any other questions morons?

    How bout them Royals!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Maybe Sly and crew are setting Kay up for when the Sylvester James debt bomb blows and bag holders (taxpayers) hit the streets looking for someone to blame.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Oh yah the local politicians are actually very nice people. Oh yah, oh yah, oh yah.

    Idiot

    ReplyDelete
  21. What the hell is all of this?

    I like the topic and the post but a lot of this stuff is garbage. TKC, be careful, there seem like a lot of people with mental problems where.

    ReplyDelete
  22. It's called free speech 7:55

    This isn't the Price is Right with Bob Baker or the Lawrence Welk Show.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Or Andy in Mayberry or Leave it to Beaver you forgot that.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Did she say when that NBA team is arriving at Sprint Center???

  25. The panelists all discussed the sale of the Plaza by Highwoods. Deftly pirouetting around the issue of thugs running violently rampant in the Plaza Shopping Area with code words and insinuation, they all lied right into the camera and Pollyanna’d their way through the topic, until, at one point, Mr. Rose blamed the sale on the city not allowing Highwoods to rent to a Tesla Dealership. I shit you not.

    It’s morning on the Plaza.

    Our ability to lie to ourselves locally, is only surpassed by the ability on a national level.

    Have the police arrested the black guy and his friends, who, one of which, left their fucking ID in the bar, who beat down that soldier on the Plaza?

    Imagine the RUCKUS from the National Media, reporters, news columns, Mary Sanchez, Lewie Doogood, Jenee racerhieiser, MSNBC, the legion of "journalists" that would descend on KC if 6 white guys insulted a black guy's wife sexually, then beat the fuck out of him, after waiting outside to ambush him.

    Total bullshit.

    Highwoods wants out, because it is getting dark and dangerous on the Plaza.

  26. In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the
    Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

    "The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200
    years, these nations always go the same route.

    From bondage to spiritual faith;
    From spiritual faith to great courage;
    From courage to liberty;
    From liberty to abundance;
    From abundance to complacency;
    From complacency to apathy;
    From apathy to dependence;
    From dependence back into bondage."

    The Obituary follows:

    Born 1776, Died 2016
    It doesn't hurt to read this several times.
    Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning
    the last Presidential election:

    Number of States won by: Obama: 19 Romney: 29
    Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 Romney: 2,427,000
    Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million Romney: 143 million
    Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by

    Obama: 13.2 Romney: 2.1

    Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Romney won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

    Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government
    welfare..."

    Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

    If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million
    criminal invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years .

  29. WELCOME TO PHUCKUS!!!!!

    ...that weekly faux political debate program from the Liberal Democrats at PBS affiliate KCPT.

    Viewers will please note that former Mayor Barnes could have put a stop to the silly Yael histrionics calling for something (a bridge, a park, a street, ANYTHING!) to be named after her. She DID NOT! Her inner-narcissist refused to behave in a professional manner, and eschew the tithings from sycophants, eager to suck at the teat of the hybrid beast known as "PBJ" (Politics/Business/Jezebels).

    Meanwhile, the PHUCKUS panel features 3 Liberals and but a sole Conservative.....SHOCKING!!!! Yes, shocking, that the producers of PHUCKUS can claim to promote any sense of balanced discussion of the issues when almost without exception they stack the deck 3 to 1 in favor of Liberals airing their opinions.

    Steve Rose--suburban Johnson County/Liberal/Falling Star Hospice worker

    Gwen Grant--professional "Black"/Urban League/Parasite Upon Host Business Community/Can't answer the question "when will you know your work is done?"

    Lisa Johnston--who?

    Patrick Tuohey--clearly, head and shoulders above the intellectual level of this panel, it's like Albert Einstein sitting with the 3 Stooges!

    ......and still NO ANSWER as to why the TKC blogger has never been invited back after a KICK ASS single appearance over a year ago!

    I must say, it really shows a lack of courage and fortitude when one guest is allowed to be blackballed by other panelists who are AFRAID of open discussions.

  31. Byron, you have never been able to refute any facts that oppose your insane lefty, self loathing, liberal, suicidal positions.

    You just call everyone who disagrees with you a KKKer and think that should end the argument. You are right in step, with all of your other sickening, socialist, scum, siblings.
