We talk a lot about infrastructure, resources and priorities as it impacts the urban core but here's a look at students across the bridge left behind due to lack of properly allocated resources. I wouldn't mind so much, if I didn't think we could afford it. But with all the money we spend for "luxuries" and we can't pay for the necessities?
ReplyDeleteKids are dying because Scott Wagner refuses to represent his district. Scott Wagner is killing kids with his carpet bagging policies. He may live in the district, but he sure as hell doesn't represent it. We believed in him, trusted him, re-elected him with out running an opponent.
And he has turned his back on us. He can't say its because he doesn't have enough influence.
Let Claycomo annex the neighborhood!!!! Scott, set my people free!!! If you want our money give us services, if not then LET US GO!

ReplyDelete205 no it was not. We were one of the original families. The farms they reference in the article. We were able to walk on or roads before the city came in with heavenly promises. We didn't need sidewalks. Then the city came in with eminent domain, and easement rights. They conned the good ol folks of this community and haven't kept a single promise.

ReplyDeleteWhen you move somewhere designed for no one to be able to walk, it will be hard to walk safely. People in the core are shit full of subsidizing your vanity projects that do not pay for themselves, and that you don't have the tax base to pay for on your own. Move somewhere designed for human beings instead of cars or go piss up a rope.

Oh the irony of the statement @2:09. Must be a hipster pretending to be an economist. Of the northland is such a drain, why was the city so eager to annex all the land. Take a minute and hopefully you will see the err of your thought.
