MUST READ!!! DRIVE-BY SHOOTING REPORTED AMID KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE VIGIL WITH LOCAL POLITICOS PRESENT!!!

TKC NOTE: Tonight, amid a tragic anniversary of local massacre we want to note MUST READ KANSAS CITY TESTIMONY about increasing local violence and the impact on our community along with perspective efforts to challenge the trend. Checkit:

"I attended a vigil for the 19 to man who was killed on his front porch yesterday. Shortly after I left, someone fired gunshots at the vigil with two school board members and anither community leader present. This marks seven homicides in five weeks in our neighborhood despite ONLY ONE last year.

"This is not KCPD's fault, and if anything, their interactions with community has staved off some of the bubbling, violent rage that has led to huge violence increases in other cities. This is what Black Lives Matter is about (or should be,) rather than writing these deaths off as "Just another dead THUG," we need to recognize each as a human being who tragically lost their life too young.

"What can our city and our school district do to provide better economic opportunities and hope for urban youth, particularly young black men, who resort to crime and violence? This is a problem our whole country faces but it has to be addressed locally."

  1. Really don't know why some would object to the fact that ALL LIVES MATTER.

But the politics always wins out, right TKC?

  2. Here's hard truth: KCPS and City Hall can't do a thing to take the guns out of these thugs' hands and murder out of their hearts. No more excuses.

  4. ^^excuse. Being poor is not, nor has ever been synonymous with predisposition to violence. It will only stop when we quit making excuses and hold those perpetrating violence accountable.

  5. Don't worry, folks! We have a black police chief, mayor, third district city council members and well - with their leadership, there's been increased communication between police, public officials and those perpetually inflicted with injustices. Oh wait, its the black police chief, mayor and public officials who are committing the injustices against the people they want to cooperate with them. Aye, yes the old 'kick-'em-in-the-teeth' and they'll cooperate forever more. Don't fret, folks. That's pragmatic and prudent strategy there. These are just isolated incidents. Everything is safer than its ever been. Don't all look confused at once. Karma is coming. Now back to your regularly scheduled propaganda, urban gunfight and stray bullets.

  6. I'll just write these deaths off as Just Another Dead Thug, thanks.

  7. What a crock of shit. Must read my ass.

"What can our city and our school district do to provide better economic opportunities and hope for urban youth, particularly young black men, who resort to crime and violence?

How about this. Don't do the crime. Get a job. Anything. People respect you when you work. Hell, work two jobs. The opportunity to be successful is there...if you want it. Stop with this lame begging for the government to give you something. Earn it.

    Must read..... fuck.

  9. This pissed me off. "What can our cities and schools do to offer more opportunities to inner city people, particularly young black men?" You have got to be fucking kidding me. What more can we do? How about what more can YOU do? WE have wasted billions of dollars and passed an untold number of laws to give you every advantage. Us taxpayers have thrown literally billions of dollars at your schools so here's a thought, FUCKING USE THEM!!! It is not our fault you read and comprehend at a second grade level making you unemployable which leads me to this: most of you don't want jobs! You are perfectly happy being raised cradle-to-grave by us taxpayers. This is proved over and over again by your generational welfare. A white person did not commit the drive by or 99% of the other murders. A white person does not make you have kids when you're 15! Us taxpayers fund clinics where you can get free or nearly free birth control. USE IT!! Amazing you can find where to get welfare but not birth control. Here's a thought: get married, have kids you can afford and raise properly, and I'm going to blow your 30 IQ mind here but actually have the father around. You know, live in the same house and be a good influence. And everybody have the same fucking last name! You stupid fucking black people take a look around, no other cultures act like you. Every single other culture in the world values education, family, and hard work. You do not. There is failure all around you, don't emulate it. Who else copies the prison culture? See the 19 year old black kid in Houston that killed himself taking a gun selfie? He of course already had two kids. Nobody else does this stupid shit. Poor white trailer trash is nowhere near as violent as you. Stop asking what everyone can do for you and fucking do it yourselves.

    1. 6:41PM Words near verbatim (or near enough) can be heard by the decent black DADS across America. Col. Allen West has proposed exactly those same moral arguments- - PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simple earnest efforts at education, work and family relations makes a successful contributor for the community. Each and everyone doing their part and striving life-long to do right themselves and bring up others is the true path to rewards.
Too much dependance is weakening the U.S. families. DADS of all race have to step up and raise their own children. MOMS shouldn't be DISRESPECTED and their children NEGLECTED !!!!!!!

Tell it like it is bro, I've seen way to many laws and such passed to give advantage to the black race and they still fail miserably and this thing we call life. I'm convinced that race will never amount to anything and as a whole drag down the entire world. Sure you have a Ben Carson and such that are like night and day to that race. But it is so few and far between. I wish slavery never happened in this country, this country is paying for our sins many times over.

  12. "But it is so few and far between?"

No, its not. If you knew more Black people, you'd know that. Black people are so vast and varying in who they are. You watch too much tv because all you've got and support are stereotypes. There's tons of Ben Carsons out there. A ton of them. I run into them everyday. Why don't you broaden your horizon and get off of the couch and stop peddling stereotypes. All black people are not the same, don't live on the Eastside of town and they're all not unemployed, drug addict, thugs like you're assuming. Gosh, have you ever read a book or attended a University of any kind? Plenty of Black professors, scholars, thinkers and the like. Boy, they don't call it a boob-tube for nothing!

  14. There are lots of Good Black People. But there are way to many bad ones.

  15. 7:40 Bullshit. Where are they? I don't see them in my large office building. When we go out to lunch I see few well-dressed black men who obviously have a decent job. The black people I knew in college hardly any of them graduated. There are millions more ghetto thugs than there are Ben Carson's. I bet you at least 75% of black people have no idea who Ben Carson is. I the black community Ben Carson is somebody to be mocked for being an Uncle Tom, with all that fancy English, book learnin' and gainful employment. There are waaaaayyy too few black people like him. Prisons aren't full of what is the typical black male. And no, I don't get this from tv. All of my negative experiences are earned. I can't tell you how many times I saw a group of five black guys beat the piss out of the drunkest, smallest white guy they could find. All of the thousands of shootings across America email every year in the hood aren't committed by anybody other than black people. Nobody is buying your bullshit.

  17. Dr. Carson spreads a message too seldom heard: No matter the circumstances you were born into, you can rise above them if you get your education and work hard; the color of your skin won't stop you from making it, and there are lots of people who will help you along the way. He speaks from first-hand experience. We need to hear him.

  19. There are NO good black people, they are ALL nothing but NIGGERS. If they appear to be "good", they're just waiting for the right moment for NIGGERdom to take over. It always does too.

  20. The east side of KCMO doesn't represent the black community.
It represents what's left of the black community.
After everyone with the ability and willingness to work hard in school and education and moves into a professional job has left.
After hard-working regular folks get sick and tired of having to live behind barred windows and doors has left.
After serious parents who appreciated the importance of education for their children's futures have left.
After everyone who gets tired of being treated like a helpless pitiful child by the civil rights industrial complex and usual local suspect grifters has left.
And as more people leave, leaving behind thousands of abandoned boarded up homes and hundreds of ruined commercial buildings, the folks who are left, unfortunately including many elderly people who have lived in their homes for decades, and others who simply can't afford to leave, the "culture" continues to descend into lawlessness, gangs, terror, and murder.
The notion that society in general is somehow responsible for making who's left successful by any measure of the word is both absurd and impossible. Particularly when so little effort is made by the people who everyone else is supposed to save.
    Mindless dystopia.

  21. Not a single one of the black apologist that bellow on this blog daily about their wonderment of any and everything black all live in areas with few if any blacks. Their only trip into the hood is a Friday night meal at the Cheese Cake Factory on the Plaza and a speedy exit back to suburbia.

Rent a house in a 50/50 mid-town hood for a month and come back and extol the virtues of a black person. No, Ben Carson is a rare black individual. Much like we thought Obama was. Look how that worked out.

Indeed. Looks like somebody on this blog gets IT. For all those reasons you mentioned, I have been packing up my shit. The town wants young people to move there but totally disrespects them. To other young people considering the Eastside...avoid it at all cost. Move to a suburb where they respect democracy, freedom of choice and where the 'activists' have no influence. Easside is imploding.

Sir, with all due respect, Missouri's black population is only about 30%, many of whom live in concentrated silos throughout the state. That means, that 60% of the time, you'll only see people that look like you - which is the majority of your existence (in Missouri). That's what you'll see - white people who are presumably gainfully employed, educated, etc. Of the 30% of Missouri's black population, about half of them are living in poverty or urban locations, like Kansas City. That means that you're only likely to see about 15% of the upwardly mobile types during your lifetime - which appears to be a small percentage based on your specific life experiences. Your assumption is that because you've spent time in or around poverty, that that poverty dictates the character of the other 15% of Missouri's black population. That's not only untrue, but borderline racists and altogether misguided. Again, broaden your horizons, they are out there. They obviously don't socialize in the same situations as you, which ultimately means you need to diversify if you hope to find those desired black people you refer to; but they are out there.
