Kansas City Tattoo Pride And Hot Spot Crime

For the most part, tattoos featuring KC iconography are celebrated and always a good conversation starter.

However, the inked couple in this recent story isn't so upbeat. Checkit:

KCTV5: Thieves break into home, tie up family and threaten children

Deets:

"A man and two women who burst in to a home at East 24th and Quincy streets came equipped with a screwdriver, gun, stun gun and duct tape, which they used to tie up three of the ten people who live there. One man, who was pistol whipped, said his biggest fear was for his boys, ages three, four, and six . . . At least 13 assaults and two robberies have happened within less than a quarter mile of the intersection in the past 30 days . . . The other crime charged Wednesday on that block was for a shooting on Aug. 13 that has a man still unresponsive in the hospital with a bullet lodged in his brain . . ."

  1. So nice to see a nice white couple like this finally stepping up. You can always expect great things from folk with face tattoos. Always a very professional ghetto look. Well done.

  2. They were probably just frustrated that First Friday comes just once a month and limits the opportunities for their "art" to be appreciated by the public.
    Are they tech entrepreneurs?
    Frosty!

  7. "Thieves break into home, tie up family and threaten children" and "at least 13 assaults and two robberies have happened within less than a quarter mile of the intersection in the past 30 days"?

East Patrol is just a few short blocks away at 27th and Van Brunt. Having a black police, chief, mayor and two black male role models on the city council is all that's needed. Black skin = success. Just look at how that neighborhood has gone further into the toilet by relocating the East Patrol campus outside of its service boundaries to Prospect/26th Street. It was a war zone with the facility. This violence is just the beginning. If they'll shoot an hardworking, man in the back of the head for no reason. Imagine what is coming next from this side of town but in Kansas City - politics and strange baptist preachers first. Get in line. Nuclear war ahead and the two-headed, zombie chickens are coming home to roost.
