Kansas City Jazz Lives In Perfect Village

The signature sound of Kansas City is a mostly dead musical language and the love of its purest form is mostly an affectation of white dudes in their later years.

Accordingly, let's talk (briefly) about the upcoming Prairie Village Jazz Festival . . .

It's the most successful local jazz event by far and possibly the only acceptable occasion to wear a fedora in the Greater Kansas City metro area.

Recently, this town's resident jazz blogger offered a comprehensive overview of the festival that's just another excuse to listen to middle-aged women cackle when they've had too much White Zin: Building the 2015 Prairie Village Jazz Festival

  1. Was waiting to see where this was going, but apparently nowhere. Not sure what TKC was smoking when he wrote this or why this is news.

  2. Not a big jazz fan, but it's nice that people who are can enjoy the music without getting shot or mugged.

  7. Typical of Tony Botello hating on something he's not interested in, such as Jazz. The little faggot is into BMX, skateboards, etc and hates everything else that he's not into. But I guess when you live in your mom's basement and have no real life, everything else going on in the real world means nothing.

  8. I have nothing against jazz, but I wish PV would give this up because it brings in too many coloreds, and we're already having problems with more of them coming over here now than we've ever had before.
