"Local politics and politicians are viewed a lot like stocks: Looked at to see who is up or down.
Last Monday, Jackson County legislator Dan Tarwater saw his stock take a serious tumble as his colleagues unanimously (and very quietly) smacked him down on the most recent Sports Authority panel.
Dan has earned a reputation among those that know him as a person who is, in their words, "fast and loose with the facts." The group have all now experienced his "hijinks" and willingness to "create conflicts."
"Thus, they sent him a clear message last Monday as NONE of HIS candidates received any support from anyone else."
An historic and embarrassing moment for him. That clear message: Quit playing games or we will all vote you out as the chair. Time will tell if Dan is capable of that."

ReplyDeleteInstead of who's up and who's down "politically, which pretty much means who;s showboating, lying, or otherwise trying to get attention like a little kid, how about who is working hard to make informed decisions and offers some serious leadership on issues that impact and are important to Jackson County taxpayers?

Tarwater is a loud-mouthed, asshole and always has been. If he were in the private sector, he would have been fired years ago...Just a real shit mouth...

ReplyDeleteI heard Sherwood "da 20 percentah" Smiff was angling for the sports authority gig but got rejected again, just like when he tried to weasel onto the open city council seat! Poor little Sherwood just can't seem to figure out who his enemies are...
