MUST READ!!! KANSAS CITY'S CRAIG GLAZER CONSIDERS JULY 4TH LEGACY!!!

TKC NOTE: A really important slice of life note today from Kansas City's media impresario reminds us of July 4th tradition rooted in America's history. Check it:

HOLIDAY MEMORIES AND FIREWORKS

Ah yes the 4th of July. If you are like me, a guy who loved this holiday as a kid, then you still do. Yes sir as a kid and teenager the 4th and New Years were the big nights. You can throw in Halloween as well. But the 4th of July was so damn exciting. Going to fireworks tent with Dad, later with your pals. Hoping to find cherry bombs and M-80's knowing you wouldn't so you settle for black cats. Remember. Somehow Dad would show up with cherry bombs and M-80's, how did he do that? Later we found the 'connection' right.

As we got older we found the same way to get the 'good' stuff.

As teenagers some of us went a bit overboard with blowing up things we shouldn't have from the neighbors mailbox to making the explosion extra loud by throwing fireworks into trash cans and garages. Wild nights back in the day. Of course shooting off fireworks with the guys always meant trying to impress the teenage girls, it never really did we just thought we were cool, scared the girls away. Oh well, they didn't know what fun was right.

We all have our stories of fireworks and dumb ass incidents. I had several. I learned how to 'time fuse' the M-80's with a cigarette. Yep you just broke off the cig and stuck the firecracker fuse in the end of it, lit it and it would take a couple minutes to burn down the fuse and go off, giving you time to be somewhere else and see the calamity it caused. Big stories back then, right. I did it in a movie theater on the Plaza in the bathroom, of course somehow got blamed and thrown out as I deserved, I was maybe 13. Later I tried at boy scout camp and was also sent home. Maybe that was the start of my getting into trouble, hah.

I was never a huge fan of the big firework displays. Sure they had all the good stuff but I think guys always wanted to be the ones lighting up the fireworks not just watching. We always wanted the credit for the show.

Today there are still firework tents and fathers buying all the bottle rockets and black cats in sight, plus all the new stuff. Its still a big and fun holiday for the entire family to enjoy and remember.

Thanks in advance for laying off the neighborhood firework celebrations guys.

Vet here, PTSD really gets real bad when you guys hit it hard out there.

Fox News will be simulcasting a fireworks show, that might be a better option in keeping us vets in mind.

    1. Good you're chill now, CHAD.
Headphones, sips, smokes, and/or meds should do the trick.
If not, hit the gym. Say some prayers. Call a buddy. And, if you still can't cope---Ya know where those fists go---FAKER!!

Us haters had a wonderful 4th doing things with our friends and family not hanging at home writing posts for a blog like that loser Glazer does. Rat snitches like Glazer as you can see by his own admission start at a young age being assholes and destroying other peoples property thinking all the while in their warp minds it is is normal fun. Chuckles, keep swallowing the rats jizz as we see he has a special love for you.

If Glazer died tonight, in 14 days or less nobody would remember a damn thing about him. Okay I take that back, Heinie I am sure would do a story every 7 days or so just to gain a hit or two at the trash heap he calls a website.
