  1. At least he is not wearing one of those weird colored shirts in that picture. Who tells him that that the dark color shirt with light colored tie look is stylish?

  3. Anyone who pays any attention to what goes on at KCMO city hall knows who really calls the shots, how priorities are set, how disengaged in city issues the council really is, how easy it is to regularly move money from what it was raised for to the latest big thing that just walked through the door, and how actual residents and businesses in KCMO and important basic services are ignored.
And other cities and counties throughout the metro want nothing to do with the carnival at 12th and Oak, or the Jackson County Courthouse for that matter, so any chance of real regional cooperation is eliminated by both these people's behavior and results.
For 85% of the metro's population which DOESN'T live in KCMO, no one could care less who chairs committees or how these folks continue to embarrass or screw their constituents. They're just happy to have made the decision NOT to live there and can watch the circus rings from a safe distance.
An endless self-celebration of D-list amateur celebrities...and all at public expense.

  4. Ethics Committee?
You may have heard of the ethically challenged office holder from north of the river, who, when asked about her ethics said: “I'm very ethnic. I love ethnic stuff. I love Italian food and Mexican food and all kinds of ethnics. I know a lot of ethnic people.”
Maybe she was hard of hearing.
