Now a murder (the woman died) in a duplex with nine people in it. Yeah, I'm sure this has nothing to do with last week's killings. I'm also sure no white people are involved, other than trying to solve the crime which I'm sure zero black people will try to help solve. Must be pretty dark with your head that far up your ass. The local "diversity" ruined SM North and West years ago. They're well on their way to ruining South. ReplyDeleteNow three people "got-got" at the same place in under a week in Overland Park. OP has some real shady apartment and duplex areas too. Other JOCO cities have them as well. Lenexa has a few nice dumps but not as many as others. Olathe...sheesh Olathe probably takes the cake in JOCO for problem complexes/areas. Olathe opened up too many section 8. The city will never be the same, especially with Nueva Olathe on the east half of I35 now. Its almost like being in South Texas near Laredo. Shawnee...yeah they have a good bundle of higher crime areas. Shawnee seems to have a few crazies you see in the news from time to time for the most random stuff.
Does anyone see the trend here? The trend is your friend and will show you what is coming with what has been. With these problems JOCO is still better than other areas. The governments tend to be better managed, and the budgets not as bad as say Jackson County. Its just things are getting worse, and unless you do something about it...

All other groups came on their own. The ones who immigrated to America had the drive and desire to seek a better life. They were go getters. The less ambitious stayed back in the old country.
We were brought here in bulk, the ambitious and others all mixed together. In fact a lot were left over from tribes that lost wars and were sold by the winning tribes. Add to that years of being told not to seek an education, not to want to be free, not to want to be married or ambitious. Let's face it a slave owner would have been a fool to bread the ones with the run away, adventurouse spirit with each other. The ones that were ambitious learned to survive by assimilating (that is why we are the ones that live in white neighborhoods without you even noticing) We also know how to still interact with each other and stay clear of the black trash. We have our own existance and social circle that doesn't involve them.
Now as to the rest, you have a home-grown culture with a lot of disfunction, lots of self-hate and lots of anger but only a few left with the drive to strike out to do better. I am not saying it is genetic. I am saying it is a cultural pathology that has infected a small but visible and dangerous percentage of the black population. But no one wants to see this because it spreads a little blame on all sides and would require a lot more than just knee jerk reactions on either side.
