Despicable crime, but glad he wasn't black. Because then the victims would be on trial for racially motivated juvenile entrapment...and he would given a healthy 6 figure settlement for his pain and suffering.
While child molestation is a dastardly crime, many times there is more to the sensational headline.
ReplyDeleteA witness who talked to police said she saw Ellis' face buried in the "front part" of a young girl's body. A young boy later told social workers that Ellis would sneak into his room and molest him.
While either of those "statements" could be twisted any number of ways. No, I am not suggesting the guy is innocent. But remember the McMartin case in California. All those kids claimed to be molested...come to find out it didn't happen.
Sometimes adults are behind these wild, sensational accusations. It is increasingly difficult to get a fair trial in such cases.
Just a charge of child molestation carries such a sickening mental thought, many juror can't get beyond the charge and innocent people sometimes go to jail. Again, not saying that is the case here. Just those chosen statements seem funny.
There is a lady who works at the Olathe, KS DMV who made her oldest daughter lie and say her second husband was playing touchy feely with her so she could get a better deal in her divorce. Ruined the guys career due to investigation he never did any jail time but went through hell because of it. Daughter later on after getting older admitted her mother made her lie and make that stuff up. Oh yes and all the ladies in the town this lady lived in was all so upset and angry this man did these thing to her daughter. So yes adults do make shit up.
ReplyDeleteHere is what is fucked up about how this works. If the guy had molested his own daughter or step daughter he would be getting counselling and probation. I in no way support this bastard, but we have to many laws on the books placed there out of sensationalism and the inequities between similar crimes is just tragic.
ReplyDeleteKind of like a 17 year old shagging a 15 year old vs a 16 year old shagging with a 15 year old. The difference is potentially decades in prison in a world where at least half the kids are already shagging each other.
I don't know who 4:06 is but that story is very true and there is even more to it.
