In the coming weeks the administration of Kansas City Mayor Sly James will earn the title of "dictator" that has been tagged to the embattled leader.
A handful of votes in a NO TURNOUT ELECTION along with the love of a dead tree media organization in the midst of decline and in desperate need of tax breaks doesn't translate into popularity in the real work.

Yes we have deets on the projects but decency and a détente with some of our most brilliant and AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS keep us committed to a bit of discussion and it's not anything people are gonna find really surprising. And the word is already out, it's not as secret as many people think.
We all know Mayor Sly's agenda and it has very little to do with neighborhoods, infrastructure or public safety.
But what's important here . . .
ALREADY THE MAYOR'S PEOPLE ARE ADMITTING DEFEAT IN THEIR EFFORT TO LINE UP SEVEN FRIENDLY VOTES ON THE UPCOMING COUNCIL!!!
Apparently, the Mayor's charm only extends to desperate newsies and not politicos who have promises and reputations of their own to keep.
And so . . . Mayor Sly's effort to build a "legacy" beyond an upcoming bond rating drop will speed up because his ability to rule over the next council looks to be in jeopardy.

ReplyDeleteHe should have used the KCK methods of vote fraud to ensure one of his yes pals, in this case yes gal, be placed on the council.
Wyandotte County lairs and thieves has this method down to a science. This is the third election period with no opposition on the ballot.
The KCK community college board is a joke for the city, but serious business for those who are feeding on millions in grant money. They are used to doing as they please and have no plans to stop.
Now, there's a new and improved plan to steal money through the appraiser office. They inflate property values, including land they want for their lairs and thieves to steal when the citizen's can't afford the upcoming increase in property taxes.
To be fair, someone has to pay for the newest hundred mil scam so kids can kick a ball in state of the art fields. Any the dairy people with their 50 mil in tiff funds so 30 people can shop at the Legends to keep it afloat.
fyi, these methods work and soon will coming to KCMO. They share the same money men and their having the time of their lives sending us all into bankruptcy. Tax payers on the hook, they're not.
