Fresh with an infusion of Belgian corporate cash . . . The dweebs from Blvd Brewery are bulking up their branding with a generic new commercial that looks like just about every other beer ad on TV including local stock footage.
Take a look:
2015 BLVD Commercial
Description: "Do not adjust your televisions—what you’re seeing on Fox Sports Kansas City and YouTube are indeed some brand new commercials for Boulevard Brewing Company. They're meant to shine a light on some of the things that we always hold dear, like our hometown, friendly people, dedication to hands-on craftsmanship, and of course, BBQ. Thanks for watching, cheers."
What's exceptionally unfortunate is the company creates a bit more confusion about the location of this town.
Clarification: Kansas City is in Missouri
More in a bit . . .
Bring in the tumbleweed! Still a cow town. Always will be.
ReplyDeleteActually, it is not a cowtown and hasn't been since the stock yards closed. But because you are a suburbanite rube, you probably don't know what being a "cowtown" even means. Go ahead, look it up on your "work" computer and get back to us, you 30-something man-child. Here's a hint: it has nothing to do with tumbleweeds, cowboys, or rural/small town culture.
DeleteWhy doesn't anyone have a commercial featuring 20 guys standing at the urinal 15 minutes after drinking their beer?
ReplyDeleteKeeping up with all the things you hate about KC is exhausting.
ReplyDeleteEver think of moving?
Or is forum master for the haters that satisfying?
Oh, it's not hate on KC for me and likely the same sentiments for others. The DEBATE is the enlightenment and entertainment- - plus when ranting, raving loonies go wild--THAT'S FUN!!! (...don't halt the Gestalt! )
DeleteWith all the progress KC is now officially a Cow Shit town.
ReplyDeleteKilla City and confusion ????
ReplyDeleteNow that is truly some funny shit.
@942, who would sponsor the local rubes, haters, and misogyists whose total contribution to public policy decisions is posting on TKC.
ReplyDeleteNow, that's pathetic.
Nah, what's pathetic is your addiction to a blog you hate, to which you have no counterpoint but labels. :)
DeleteMeh. Boulevard sold out to the foreigners. I'll drink locally owned beer, like KC bier company.
ReplyDeleteSold out...? Still made here and revenues from products and venue leases are healthy. The $$investors are US and foreign, rather keep Blvd here and growing -- and that Torn Label -- Free State, some fine brew too!
