A recent shooting turned into a homicide today when the victim died from his injuries.
To wit . . .
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI NOW COUNTS 20 MURDERS FOR 2015 COMPARED WITH 16 AT THIS TIME LAST YEAR!!!
Remember that it was the early months of last year (accompanied by record-breaking winter cold) that accounted for a great deal of progress in the significant reduction of homicides in 2015.
Now that the weather is warming up from our most recent and milder winter . . . Rampant gun violence is slowly but surely chipping away at recent progress against the local homicide count.
Here's the latest . . .
Official report - 5600 block of Park: The victim was talking with the suspect (b/m approx 20yoa) when he was shot multiple times. The victim was transported to an area hospital by private vehicle. It is believed the victim and suspect knew each other. The suspect is not in custody and anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816.474.8477.
