I'll take him seriously when he announces that he's giving up on his hair-brained eco-dev schemes and reallocating the money to fund his gun court proposal. Until then it's just talk.
ReplyDeleteThis is simply political bullshit. We already have laws and we already have courts to try both misdemeanor and felony offenders. The idea that Missouri needs to spend millions creating a "special" court, just to memorialize an impotent mayor, is just dumb. What we need are prosecutors who are not affraid to prosecute murderers, a mayor who actually does something positive and a prison for felony firearms offenders. Perhaps we could take a few of those old KC schools and convert them on Sly's nickel since he thinks he is the governor now.
