  1. 6818 Locust is too close to thug/killer villa for me. The place is right off of Rockhill and a straight shot back to the dark side of living and crime.

  2. I don't get it. I've been in several Brookside homes and neither the area, nor the homes, are anywhere near worth what those pompous asses think they are. Yet, there is always a sucker coming down the pike just begging to join in "Leave it to Beaver" land.

  4. The house I grew up in (built in the early 1900's) at 56th & Main was purchased by my dad in 1957 for $14k. Today's value is $450k+

    LMAO!

(yup just goes to show you the U.S. dollar is pretty much worthless anymore when it comes to purchasing power)

  6. 7:57: I thought your view of Brookside and Waldo is they're suburbs. They are, after all south of the imaginary line drawn at 31st defining (unrealistically) downtown.

BTW. For those concerned with the distinction between Brookside and Waldo, this house is only a couple of blocks from Gregory, which puts it dangerously close to--gasp!!!--Waldo.

  7. 7:48 is almost right. But the Cleavers weren't Catholic. Brookside is east of Wornall, and that's too far east for anyone who values their safety and well-being.
