He used this same excuse before and then took one of the most travel and labor intensive jobs in Show-Me state politics as Chairman of the Missouri State Democratic Party.
So, given that his staff is bumped up, other challengers have already noted their intention to run for County Exec whether or not he wants a 4th term AND he clearly has garnered favor with most local newsies . . .
The top dog at the County obviously has higher ambitions for an upward move and obviously enjoys all of the speculation about his options.
