As of this writing, here is the news links that do no show the mugshot in question and related to the 1st Degree robbery charge.
Fox4: "Hakeem Willie Malik has been charged in the shooting death of Jon Bieker, 44, one of the co-owners of “She’s a Pistol” gun shop in Shawnee located at 5725 Nieman Road, who died late Friday afternoon, January 9. Malik has been charged with aggravated robbery and first degree murder."
KSHB: "Midgyett, Wiley and Patterson were injured after police said they and Malik attempted to rob the gun store on Friday, and the three remain under police guards at area hospitals. Malik was not injured and is currently in jail."

ReplyDeleteWhat has to change is for some actual leadership in the black community that emphasizes responsibility, behavior, education, and hard work. Just like for anyone else who wants to live a reasonably successful life.
But that's not going to happen as long as the rest of society, particularly corporate leaders, elected officials, and the media are too cowardly to show people like Sharpton and the rest of the civil rights industrial complex the door, stops listening to them, being afraid of them, and stops funding them.
The folks hurt most by the well-paid grifter crowd are regular people in the black community who work hard to take care of themselves and their kids. They're sold out every day by the usual suspects who are still living in what they they think were the glory years of the civil rights marches and haven't had a single new idea of what to do since then.
Doors are open and opportunities are available.
But success is the intersection of opportunity and preparation.

When the news broke that a gun store was rob. my first thought was who would rob a gun store during working hours. It didn't make since to me. Most gun stores are broke into after hours when no one else is in the store not broad daylite. No we know the thugs was only 18 & 19 years old. Only this age group could think they could strong arm a gun shop and get away with it. They are fearless and have no thoughts of their future. I'm saddened the gun shop owner lost his life.
