In his first term, Councilman Brooks has faced some horrible problems like a sexting scandal and push back from his constituents and congregation.This upcoming story isn't related to that but it's important for us not to forget the Council Dude's reputation.
Most people are surprised that he is even bothering to try an EMBARRASSING reelection attempt . . .
Now, complaints against Council Dude Brooks aren't new. Word around the campfire in Council chambers is that most of the assistant pool for City Council don't like him because he makes a mess around the coffee break area . . .
But these newest charges of a HOT MESS BETWIXT COUNCIL DUDE BROOKS AND HIS ASSISTANT are A LOT more serious and should provide more proof that this guy doesn't need to be an elected official in Kansas City.

ONCE AGAIN OUR TKC BLOG COMMUNITY REITERATES OUR CALL FOR THE COUNCILMAN TO BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE OR SIMPLY RESIGN!!!
Kansas City likes to be polite but it's clear this Council Dude is out of control and most of his votes are suspect . . . Having a politico like this in office is DANGEROUS FOR KANSAS CITY VOTERS. His votes are even more suspect than Cindy Circo - Who everybody realizes is one of the most corrupt/dingbat voices on the Council.
And I think the current decline on City Council is related to both the lack of leadership from Mayor Sly James AND/OR The horrible and enduring legacy of Jan Marcason's potato salad recipe that all of Midtown has endured for more than a decade.
But I digress . . .
This story has more to do with the litany of City Hall related legal problems that currently have been costing Kansas City a seemingly endless toll and now threaten to get even more sordid.
