Missouri's Gov. is under siege and today Kansas City public school students attempt to teach him a lesson: Some KC students silently protest during governor's visit to school

  1. Really though, what did he expect from a bunch of stupid, impressionable high school kids?

  2. Rather than put your hands up after committing a crime might I suggest not committing a crime.

  3. Good for the students. Nixon has handled the situation poorly from the beginning. This state of emergency is provocative. His political career is over. The rest of the country will avoid MO like the dung hill it is. No indictment, Wilson gets away with murder. MO should be destroyed, the nation would be better off.

  4. RE: "The students, about of dozen of them, stood up and placed their hands above their heads as Nixon was introduced.."

...at which point, Gov. Nixon drew his concealed carry weapon and fired off multiple rounds.

  6. All the physical evidence so far seems to indicate that Brown did not have his hands up trying to surrender when he was shot. It's one thing for the anarchists and looters in Ferguson to disregard the evidence - they have goals of their own. But Lincoln College Prep kids should be smart enought to think for themselves at least a little bit.

  7. Michael Brown was just another run of the mill thug piece of shit that was a shit stain on the pavement when he died.

We are all better off with another thug off of the street. Lincoln Prep is full of shit for brain teachers and shit for brain kids who will ascend to the same level as their hero, Michael Brown.

Robbing, killing and raping are the marks of matriculation from schools like Lincoln Prep where the reading level is 3rd grade tops.

  11. Students at Lincoln Prep are some of the brightest in the nation, as can be seen through their academics. In fact, the very reason that Gov. Nixon was there was to congratulate the students on earning the Blue Ribbon Award, and it was one of less than 50 high schools in the entire nation to do so this year. Now I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure they're not just stupid, brainwashed teenagers learning from awful teachers. Students here are encouraged to express and discuss their ideas, and it's about time someone else acknowledged their opinions as something other than stupid.

Also, to anyone that thinks students at Lincoln would be applying to Harvard, you really don't know Lincoln. No one here would want to go to an overpriveledged, overrated school like that.

  12. OK so its disrespectful that a bunch of the brightest high school students in Missouri know how to use their rights?

  13. I think they did the right choice to protest. If you don't do anything, nothing will ever change. To be honest, those students were brave no matter what the consequences were. What the heck was that comment about Harvard. The comment that said "No one here would want to go to an overpleged school like that" I agree. Where be somewhere where you don't belong or being pressured to become the most successful person. In my opinion I dont think they should need a discipline, they did nothing wrong, they just did what was right.Overall, I think these students need a pat on the back.

  14. If you only knew the kids that you're labeling "stupid". A adults, the disgusting comments you're leaving based on you closed minded views, make you looks like fools to everyone who knows why they did this.
If you only knew what it was like to live under the conditions that can be related to the Brown incident, but no, most of you will scoff and go back to your house on a hill before considering WHY they did it.
Simplest way to put it, think outside the box for once, and stop calling every kid stupid.
Because from the looks of it, they're smarter than you.

  16. They need to draw kids from the entire KCMOSD to equal the test scores of Blue Valley or SM East kids sitting in a 1960s ranch house
