TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! WARNING: TOP 5 THINGS KANSAS CITY DOESN'T WANT SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS FANS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS COWTOWN!!!

Kansas City prepares to take center-stage amid a long anticipated return to the World Series, while politicos and public officials put on their best face for the cameras.

To wit . . .

THIS MORNING OUR TKC BLOG COMMUNITY REVEALS THE TOP 5 DIRTY KANSAS CITY SECRETS THAT THIS COWTOWN IS TRYING TO HIDE DURING THE WORLD SERIES!!!

These facts are well known to locals but visitors and MLB corporate commercial broadcasts might gloss over the harsh reality of local life. Luckily, the power of the Internets helps us share this important data.

Let's make it hot . . .

MOST OF THE BASEBALL FANS AT THE K TONIGHT DON'T LIVE IN KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI . . . THEY'RE MOSTLY MIDDLE-CLASS SUBURBANITE LEECHES WHO CONSTANTLY PREY UPON THE TAXPAYER BASE OF KCMO PROPER!!!

Plain and simple, the overwhelming majority of the people cheering for the Kansas City Royals tonight at the 1st game of the World Series don't actually live in Kansas City.

Kansas City is a deeply divided metropolis that has been gerrymandered and cut apart in order to serve the interests of the middle-class corporate employers looking to evade taxes. Yeah, the city has an earnings tax but over the past few years the surrounding suburbs have schemed against KCMO in order to siphon away business and workers in a way that's devastating the long term outlook of the economy.

If Kansas City is the next major American city to go bankrupt like Detroit, it'll be because so many of tonight's cheering Royals fans have helped to financially feed off this town and encourage sports subsidy while not paying for anything more significant than a couple of beers and parking - And griping all the while.

KANSAS CITY MAYOR SLY JAMES IS KIND OF AN UNPOPULAR JERK DESPITE HIS CONSTANT SMILING

Mayor Sly James suffered an incredible election defeat this year.

RECENT TKC POLLING INDICATES THAT THE MAYOR'S JOB APPROVAL RATING AMONG ACTIVE VOTERS HAS FALLEN TO A MERE 36% AND STEADILY DROPPING!!!

The Mayor has made enemies with leaders in the African-American community, firefighters and fiscal hawks.

The only reason Mayor Sly James doesn't have a more formidable election challenge is because local corporations and law firms have colluded in order to prop up his Administration and discourage any opponents.

Mayor Sly James is mostly a corporate puppet with an agenda dominated by economic development subsidies for just about any big biz that asks while neighborhood and community concerns run a distance 4th behind ribbon cutting and the occasional dance video.

IN THE PAST YEAR THERE HAVE BEEN TWO LITTLE GIRLS GUNNED DOWN AND THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT

Twice in very recent memory Kansas City has suffered through little girls murdered by way of deadly gunfire. In both instances, information or help from the community has been non-existent despite overall public outrage.

KANSAS CITY IS ONE OF THE MOST RACIALLY SEGREGATED AND DIVISIVE TOWNS IN THE NATION

This goes back to the mostly white, middle-class cheerleading Royals fans from the suburbs and nearby rural towns . . . Still, it's a well documented fact that Kansas City is more divided by race than almost any other place in nation in terms of proximity and politics.

The benefit to this disparity is that KCMO is culturally diverse, exciting and really some place unique while the suburbs are a vapid collection of strip malls and food courts from NOWHERE, USA. For those who don't catch a stray bullet or Ebola, the trip to visit KCMO amenities and attractions really is worthwhile.

THANKS, IN PART, TO PRO-SPORTS SUBSIDY . . . KANSAS CITY INFRASTRUCTURE IS OLD AND BUSTED AND MODERATE AMOUNTS OF RAIN AND/OR SNOW USUALLY END IN DISASTER

The P&L District that so many politicos are pointing visitors toward . . . That loses more than $15 MIL a year and most of the other local attractions pretty much bleed red ink as well.

Tonight we celebrate baseball but this town really loves to gamble on big money projects that usually don't pay off.

Economists call it "tin-cup urbanism" and our Kansas City economic strategy is mostly based on tips that have failed to materialize.

Accordingly . . .

ALL OF THIS IS SIMPLY TO INFORM WORLD SERIES AFICIONADOS THAT KANSAS CITY IS ABOUT MORE THAN BBQ AND FAKE MIDWESTERN VALUES . . . THIS COWTOWN IS JUST AS SCREWED UP, ANGRY, RACIALLY DIVISIVE, AND BROKE-ASS AS ANY OTHER CITY IN THE NATION ONLY A BIT MORE POLITE AND HOME TO BEEFIER WHITE WOMEN!!!

Don't believe mainstream media hype and be exceedingly careful about the selection of highway exits because Kansas City can be a lot more cruel, unwelcoming and inhospitable than representations on TV tonight. And the point of all of this is to note that locals realize these facts of life and that's why so many of us move out of town to some place just a bit nicer. Natch.

  5. Oh, and if you happen to be from out of town and were Googleing "shitty worthless racist KC blogs" and came across this site (TKC is the first hit, so mission accomplished) know that while KC has its issues, quality of life is not one of them.

Lots of people like it here and have good lives, but you're reading the rants of someone who neither likes it here or, apparently, has a good life.

Enjoy the World Series, everybody! I sure will, win or lose.

  9. Let's watch as Tony Botello hops in his Toyota, turns left at Des Moines, moves to The City and fires up Tony's San Francisco:

    Well put.

  12. Evidently Mensa boy's not been too far west, either. The best you can do for $950 in SF would be to rent a room from someone, part of the Bay Bridge failed in the 1989 Loma Prieta quake, but the bridge was repaired and has since been rebuilt, and Hispanics (who were there before Anglos) usually do just fine in California.

No hurf durf awards for this one.

  13. It's a joke, and a pretty unfamiliar concept it must be.

  14. Well, Tony, riddle me this. If the middle-class, surburbanite leeches were not filling the stadium, who would? I'm so sure a lot of Beaners and Nignogs could afford the price of tickets during the regular season, much less the playoffs and series. Go have Alfonzo hold up his stinky finger, then you hop on it and spin!

  15. @10:50 I thought you were going to show a pic of Tony's right hand but then I noticed you said some of his dates instead of all of them.

  16. Actually, KC isn't even in the top 25 of segregated cities. And Huff Po even mentioned that KC made progress in reducing segregation....http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/07/americas-10-most-segregated-cities_n_845092.html

  17. Not everyone who chooses to live in KC hates it 1132. I made the decision to live here based partly on the fact you can't rent a garage in SF for what my mortgage is here. When I look at what I pay in taxes to the City compared to CA, it is not even close.

If you don't like where you live, move.

And I don't qualify to be in Mensa.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Why do you think folks either moved out of K.C. or moved to the area, but made the decision to live in a place other than Kansas City, Missouri?

The #1 reason is the shitty schools. No parent would think twice about not moving away from K.C. or at least moving North of the River when it comes to their children. Newcomer's to the area, who have kids, naturally look for a place to live that has a good school district and that does not include the KCMOSD.

#2 the E-Tax does not attract residents, it repels them. Along with companies as well.

#3 Kansas City has some of the most crooked politician's around, who delight in giving taxpayer money to their buddies, resort to unethical practices to have votes go their way and many other things that does not give anyone with half a brain any confidence that the city leaders will do what's best for the city. There's zero confidence on that front.

You can either live North of the River in K.C. or live in one of the many suburbs in the metro that have great schools, low crime and a much better quality of life while still enjoying the stadiums, museums, restaurants and bars in K.C. You'd be an idiot to stay in K.C. if you're not forced to, like city employees are.

You should take a drive this evening to Copland. It's an area north of 152 highway and off of Woodland. Most of the houses up there are owned by KCPD cops, Highway Patrol guys and other kinds of cops. Almost every driveway has a cop car in it and is where many high ranking cops, along with most of the cops in KCPD special units live. They live in K.C. and their kids go to great schools in the North Kansas City School district.

You're a crybaby and this post just makes you look sad and extremely jealous. If you're not whining about this, you're whining about white folks moving to the Westside.

    You're a broken record.

  19. What is our rate of HIV compared to San Francisco?

  20. 1238: My point was not that KC is a bad place to live. My point was that Mensa boy (1027) has a habit of stating things as facts that he has no knowledge of. I totally agree with you on costs in KC versus the Bay Area as I've lived in both places and am here by choice.

  21. It is Overland Park that is culturally diverse. We have the Islamic Center, there is a large contingent of Indians, we have African-Americans who want the best for their children. KCMO defines diversity in terms of Black/White; OPKS embraces the rainbow. Go shopping at the JC Penny's at 135th and Metcalf. It is a regular multi cultural experience. After all, if you uprooted your family and moved half-way across the world, would you move to 107th and Blue Ridge? I didn't think so.

  22. So.
    Very.
    Angsty.

    Kinda funny too.

  23. IF Kansas City ultimately falls to bankruptcy, it will be entirely the fault of NIGGERS, just like Detroit. They have ruined every thing, place, person they've been a part of.

  25. 12:38: Well put my friend. I love this City but the reality is that it's becoming difficult to justify raising a family here - Crime, shitty schools, increasing taxes... and the bs e-tax.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Go to Westwood, KS and look a the home values versus homes across the street in KCMO...
Westwood: good schools, clean streets, landscaping maintained by the City, sidewalks repairs paid by the City, Police patrols...etc.
KC MO: failing school system, dirty streets, pay for your sidewalks (e-tax anyone?), Police patrols focus on East side - neighborhoods have to maintain their own landscaping, fountains, pay for off duty security...etc.
    E-tax anyone?

Tony you need to get out of your mother's basement and travel more.

You write: " KANSAS CITY IS ONE OF THE MOST RACIALLY SEGREGATED AND DIVISIVE TOWNS IN THE NATION"

Tony you need to go to Chicago, Baltimore, Boston or any big city on the East Coast. Compared to them, Kansas City is Mayberry.

  30. I think it is kinda chicken shit to call suburbanites leaches when their tax dollars helped build and maintain those cheezy assed sports complexes where they get ripped off every time they park in those shit hole parking lots, buy a burger, T-shirt or drink a flat soft drink.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hey, I know a great way to attract financial support for the stadiums from folks in the suburbs:
Appoint grifters like Modest Miles to the Sports Authority!
    Hahahahahaha!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Just please, please don't let any of the chirpy downtown boosters get all excited and take the out of towners to our fantastic four-block "entertainment district" at the P&L.
The laughing won't stop until the planes touch down on the coasts on the return trips.

    Just saying.

  36. You don't know anything about big time sports like the WS and Super Bowl. It's not filled the fans of the teams. It's filled with corporate sponsors who get free tickets and are there to be seen. And you really should move to Detroit or St. Louis or L.A. You hate it so much then just fucking move. Oh, and if you think city people are surprised that our black people commit massive acts of random violence, you are mistaken. They do it everywhere in the world, not just here. And everybody knows that.
