Smithville Wants Last Word On Principal Pappy

After student embarrassed the district and media struggled to understand a controversial firing, a hinterland school district proves that don't know much about public relations and offers this after-the-fact presser: Smithville schools says previous statement on principal Rudy Papenfuhs didn't tell "entire story"

  1. Sounds like a closed-minded district. Great reporting! TV reporting has eclipsed the Star and if the Star needs to know why any passing glance in a mirror for the managers ( there are no leaders) will tell the story quite well.

  2. gool old Smithville, where the Beverly Hillbillies rub shoulders with the Trumps.

Where they have a "bring your cow to school" day.

Nothing Smithville does should be of any surprise.

Can you repeat after me, "inbred", "inbred", "inbred".

  3. You want to see inbred, look at inner city KCMO.

The entire cast of "Deliverance" was recruited here.

  4. Yes, 11:11. Lots of toothless, squeal-like-a-pig, banjo playing, brother-sister-cousins in KCMO. Hit a little to close to home, daddy sucker?

  6. Yes sir folks you know the Principal is a major drug problem when he puts prescription ointment on a student. This politically correct society makes me want to fucking puke.

  9. He was supposed to have a public hearing last Thursday, but the chicken shit school board adjourned to executive session for an hour, before the chicken shit assistant superintendent canceled the meeting and told everyone to leave.
These people are worthless as school board officials and administrators.
Smithville needs to vote these assholes out.

  10. I think it's very ignorant to put all the blame on either side of this issue. The school district was not playing "chicken shit" by going into executive session. There were several parts of the Missouri sunshine laws that went into that session that they had no control over. I'm a former student of Smithville High School and it is far from the the "inbred" or "hillbilly" school to which most of these comments refer. After being apart of this school district for more than 8 years I can tell you that not once did we have a "Bring your cow to school day". Several students from my graduating class went on to many great things and schools. I know there are several students graduating this year that have good chances at the Ivy Leagues. While this situation was handled poorly this school district is still one with many excellent teachers and it is so much more than a spot on KCTV5 which just to let everyone know was awful coverage and a shitty excuse for journalism. This community will move past this and whether or not that is with the current school board or new members come April it will stay united. If you are going to talk crap about a community of people get to know those people before you judge.
