  3. Praise Jesus that our local police risked their lives to save us from naked girls and the amount of drugs and guns they would have found in the average high school.

Shock and awe is a valid and worthwhile strategy for our local police to use. Look at how well it worked in Iraq and Afghanistan.

They could have called in air strikes, you know.

  4. 'Four firearms, one of which was reported stolen from a federal law enforcement agency, and two replica firearms were seized in the raid, the sheriff said."
    Sounds like a good call.

  5. These clowns are out of control. You know what would have been easier and far safer? Have all the cops get on a bus. Pretend you're a bachelor party. Sit in the club for five minutes and get a lay of the land. At a predetermined time show your badges and guns. Would have cause much, much less hysteria. The situation would have been handled much easier.

  7. Again some idiot wannabe journalist militarizes the police on paper.

The fact is there is not a single polce department in any city that does not use flash grenades when deemed necessary on entering a home or business during a raid or life saving manuever. Flash grenades are not military equipment and have been for sale on the civilian market for decades. This story makes as much sense as Barbara Fine stein having a hunting rifle turn into an assault weapon just because it got a new black colored stock. I am against excessive use of force in any scenariao, but if folks want to be be against something they at least ought to have enough between their ears to identify what it is they are claiming to be against.
