Kansas City Creative Community Celebrates The Royals In The World Series

Kansas City has turned into a constant pep rally but tonight we're taking a look at the local arts community getting in on the celebration.

The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts is aglow in home town pride.

And while getting evening blog fuel coffee I noticed KANSAS CITY STREET ARTIST PAUL ROSE and his KICK-ASS ROYALS DESIGNS . . .

Mr. Rose will be selling his wares tomorrow in Westport as NOBODY plans to get any work done tomorrow.

  1. Media will ruin the series, watch.

  2. It could be that it might be a very good 6 or 7 game series, that might classify as "good", but Tony will have none of that positive talk.

My turgid balls of hate for all things positive must be directed and we have not chatted about the street car in 3 days!

  3. Kansas city sucks, but go royals10/21/14, 12:19 AM

Glad the Royals had a great season, Glad the citizens who live here actually have gotten a chance to be proud about anything in this shithole town, people who dont even like baseball in this city are jumping on the train to support the royals because for once in a very long time, they found a reason to justify why they still live here.

  5. How can you have a great season and not win the Division Title? And what's with this CAPTCHA bullshit?

  6. The local media have ALREADY ruined the series, but fortunately serious adults from out of town will soon arrive and push them into the background where they belong.
Christa Dubill chirping from the infield like a 16 year old high school kid makes KC look about as bush league as possible.
    Where are the pom poms?

  7. Paul is a severely schizophrenic homeless man. I think it would be a stretch to call him a street artist.

  8. This isn't art. It's tacky commercialism.
