ReplyDeleteIn this particular sentence, "frosty" apparently means delusional. School districts in surrounding communities are packed with kids whose parents gave up on both the east side and KCPS long ago.
ReplyDeleteAnd in spite of all the PR and rah rah, KCPS is still burdened by grifters, fake consultants, "the community", meddlesome nonprofits, and the usual elected suspects.
And no one, including the state, has the guts to make any real changes.

ReplyDelete8:33, I agree with you 100%. I have also said (sincerely) for a long time now that people should have to get a license to have a kid, just like they have to do to get married. Failure to have an unlicensed kid means no tax credits or benefits of any kind. People have to get blood-tested and licensed to be "married," but they can crank out taxpayer supported rugrats by the dozen without consequence. Ridiculous.

Fox 4 was trying to tug at heartstrings last night by showing a sheboon that got turned away from every shelter in town because they didn't have room for her. She had one niglet on her hip, one hanging on her leg, and another one in her belly. What is up with that? Are they too ignorant to realize what makes them pregnant?
