CONGRATULATIONS TO MISSOURI DISTRICT 27 REP. BONNAYE MIMS WHO HELD ON TO VICTORY TONIGHT BY A RAZOR THIN MARGIN OF 8 VOTES!!!
Rep. Mims had initially earned the victory against challenger India Williams by 12 votes which was certified after election night returns mistakenly reported a Williams victory.
Rep. Mims supporters say: "This is just another indication and example that EVERY VOTE REALLY DOES COUNT."
Rep. Mims was the headliner for the "We The People" ticket and is now the biggest winner for the group. Freedom, Inc. opposed the reelection of and led the unsuccessful recount effort following a mostly successful Aug. 5th election wherein their two Jackson County Candidates Frank White And Alfred Jordan proved victorious.
