Let's start the morning with just a bit of behind the scenes chatter regarding the composition of the NEXT City Council.
To wit . . .
KICK-ASS KANSAS CITY INSIDERS REVEAL THAT COUNCIL DUDE SCOTT WAGNER IS WORKING HARD TO TAKE OVER FOR MAYOR PRO TEM CINDY CIRCO ONCE HER SESSY TENURE HAS EXPIRED!!!
In fairness, NOBODY can do exactly what Sessy Cindy does for Kansas City's political scene . . .
Still, Council Dude Wagner is attempting to win the support of Mayor Sly's peeps and prove that he's a worthy successor to a lady who rose up from the ranks of a lowly nail tech to the heights of Kansas City power broker party girl.
The newsie part of this is post is that Council Dude Wagner is an integral part of Mayor Sly's alliance on the Council that our top City Hall honcho hopes to beef up in his second term and maybe even build an UNSTOPPABLE SEVEN VOTE COALITION so that all of his ideas remain mostly unquestioned.
Personally, I don't want to see Council Dude Wagner in heels . . .
But that's his deal.

ReplyDeleteI can tell how much Tony loves to kick the city and would rather ignore Jackson County, but he should change that mindset.
ReplyDeleteI work with representatives of KCMO and JaxCo and I the city people are far more respectful and professional.
That difference is all the more clear since Cathy Jolly became assistant county executive. The woman is a full-on bitch. She will yell at you. Then she will have six or seven other people call and pressure you to do what she wants -- and I am convinced she lies to them so that they do not know that they are being unreasonable.
Sly and Troy's people are direct but they are professional and respectful. If you explain to them why something cannot be done, the City people understand.
Cathy Jolly screeches like a spoiled brat.
When we can do a favor for the City people we will try to do it. But no more for JaxCo. Cathy burns bridges and acts entitled.

ReplyDeleteThere are those of us who work with Jackson County as vendors who are sick of being strong-armed by Jolly and Lisa Carter to "play ball." There are laws about that kind of "government."
To 8:21, some of the city people are pretty dull bulbs, but at least they have some manners.

The County Legislature went into closed session.
The County Legislature reconvened.
Just what was done in that closed session? That would not be allowed on City Council, because they just moved money around for a political show.
It's because Wagner has tits, isn't it?

Cathy Jolly is all about me me me! One should have to share an office with her and see her other side to then never vote in her favor again. The husband is just a puppet on a string and she controls the strings as she likes to do with any man. Scott is so silly he can't figure out all those afternoons she can't be found that she isn't out doing charity work.
