Like it or not, this job switcheroo isn't a slam dunk for TGR.
- The Jackson County Legislator still faces significant residency questions that she has yet to explain publicly.
- She'll have a hard time defending her record on the Jackson County Legislature and telling voters what exactly she accomplished during her tenure.
- East side political juggernaut Freedom, Inc. promises to run an opposition candidate and continues to look for a challenger.
Still, the overwhelming Union support and list of local power player hosts on this announcement is impressive and a sign that this campaign for Council is sure to offend a great many people.

I feel very sorry for Theresa. She is not a happy person. Where weight problems stem directly from the series of abortion procedures that she under went while serving our country in the US Navy. Her sadness leads to over consumption of food and booze and the excess weight makes her depression even worse. I am certain that she hears the cries of her unborn children every night and the darkness covers her life. I do feel very sad for her. I hope she finds the Lord's love someday.

ReplyDeleteThe 6-Month requirement applies to people who move from one district within the city to another district -- like Scott Wagner did 5 years ago. Those migrants within the city must live in a new district at least 6-months before they can file for city council from that jurisdiction.
ReplyDeleteThe 6-Month requirement does not apply to people who move into the city from other jurisdictions; who under the charter must be a resident of KC for at least two years before they are eligible file for city office. Ms. Garza-Ruiz's legal residence was Blue Springs, Missouri - less than to years ago.

She has to know that she is not a resident, so she is raising the funds through false pretenses.

From the perspective of right and wrong, which is separate from politics, the challenge or complaint should be filed sooner rather than later in order to reduce the number of marks taken in by this fraud.

One could argue that no one has excelled as a member of that body in recent years.
HOWEVER when the arguments against a candidate are purely personal then the snake in the grass too fucking weak to speak DIRECTLY to Ms. Ruiz is a cockless shit. Excuse me.
Please note that the other 1% in America are the members of the Armed Forces. They are not celebrated but end up with sneers covered as faint praise. Screw you weak assed poser. In America what Ms. Ruiz did in her private life, as long as it was legal, is her business.

I will not vote an incumbent back into office either.
