Steve Kraske's understanding of state party politics has always been from local consultants who haven't won a competitive race in years and do not like Nixon because he built a better team without them.
On Kraske saying a fork is in Nixon
Kraske saying a figurative fork is in Jay Nixon's political career is like saying a fork was in Jordan in 1994 after he came out of retirement. He went on to win 3 more rings because nobody was better than the Bulls. In Missouri, nobody's organization is stronger or better than Jay Nixon's.
On Kraske quoting Sen. Chapelle-Nadal & Rep. Chris Kelly
They have never liked Governor Nixon, but let's be honest, if a 'fork' was in Nixon he could have found credible foes. Sen. Chapelle-Nadal became State Senator with 30% of the primary vote. Meaning less than 4,000 of the 38,000 in her district even voted for her. The rest don't have a clue who she is.
