  2. The Kansas City Art Institute may be an awful college but Ben Miller needs an editor and a map.

  3. Indeed. Mr. Miller might not know the difference between the Art Institute-International of Kansas City, which is located in Kansas and the Kansas City Art Institute which is located in Missouri.

  4. Surprised Mizzou is not on there.

  5. Ever notice how Kansas City and the word worst appear together all the time?

  6. If this place is so bad why hasn't Vatterott bought it?

  7. And UMKC's art school won't rank much better.

  8. They got it all mixed up. The worst one is the for-profit art school on the Kansas side owned by Art Institutes International. KCAI is one of the better schools.

  9. So some idiot in Washington,D.C., who doesn't know the difference between Kansas and Missouri throws some numbers in a blender and comes up with this list. If you want to know something about the quality of the KCAI educational experience, ask the KCAI alumni who are winning Academy Awards.

  10. They all fucking suck if you're born an artist what the fuck do you need school for? My Dad couldn't draw for shit so at 55 he went to art school 10k later he still can't draw for shit and even admits it. Nice thing about going to art school is it looks good on your resume for that retail sales job you will land.

  11. Welcome to Corporate America. They demand you have a degree, but damned if they can bring much to the party. I went to college, wasted my money, bought the bullshit and in all my working years never once had a job where a reasonable intelligent human needed a college degree. Now that a student loan easily runs folks to the poor house I wonder what line of shit these kids are expected to buy into. It doesn't take a PHD to be broke.

  12. Really, 1:19PM,
You're going with HuffPo click bait?

  13. Most of the KCAI grads are flailing about much like other college grads who feel and are told they're so special for 4+ years and then they get out and they're just another broke, in or under employed citizen who no one but their buddies gives a fuck about. Welcome to the 98%'s real world suckers. Hope you had you fun. Now get to sweepin'.

  14. A 4 year liberal arts or soft science degree used to get you a foot in the door in a decent company.

Now that every possible job that can be outsourced has been, and technology has made many entry-level jobs obsolete... those degrees are basically proof that you made a bad decision and then stuck with that bad decision unit graduation

College hasn't changed, the world has.
