They actually are Michael Brown. The same propensity for violence, the same entitled expectations, the same built in excuses for personal failure, the same reasons for personal success (Special considerations from society and government that elevate them past thier position.), the same monolithic illogical thought process that sees the world through the eyes of a narrative that emphasizes first and foremost the color of skin, the same predictable responses to the same predictable problems in African American sub culuture, the same results in the end. Failure and whining.

ReplyDeleteHilariously enough, they stink up the sociology classes and 'college algebra' (I took that in 7th grade?) but are nowhere to be found in Finance, Engineering or Law. Go ahead and look for black men at UMKC law. I'm sure they let in one to make it official.

ReplyDeleteNow, usually I don't take the time out of my busy schedule to respond to these types of comments, but at this point, I am just fed up with everyone saying to just let it go. Ever since the tragic death of Mike Brown, I have been hearing other races complain about cruelty in their communities and within their race. The difference is that instead of sitting on our asses all day, we, as Blacks, get up and protest and speak our minds and do what needs to be done to get some attention so that something will change.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's true that history repeats itself. Yes, after Hurricane Katrina, African-American students came together to raise funds for our brothers and sisters. But you know what? It's called UNITY. Maybe if your lives were half as hard as ours, you could see how imperative it is that we behave the way we do. Because if we don't no one will pay us any attention and in turn, no justice will be served.
And another point... don't be so quick to call us dumb or act like we're subordinate or even like we have it easy. Would a 'stupid piece of shit' have multiple academic scholarships, be on the dean's list and a member of the honor society? Because I am. Be careful in choosing who you talk shit about because these same pieces of shit could be teaching your children or building your house or even be your boss one day.
And my final remark is for Superdave... Don't be so quick to stereotype. You weren't at Ferguson so let me enlighten you as to what I witnessed. I saw not only Blacks, but Whites too (just like in the protest on campus). So if my people are looting, employee-beating thugs, then doesn't that make your people accomplices?
