Clay Chastain clearly isn't afraid to take on the Mayor and he's betting that people care more about this town's Democracy than Mayor Sly's beautiful smile and pleasant public persona . . . I was at a meeting of white middle aged people, none of whom are Clay Chastain fans, this week, and the consensus was the city has thwarted democracy. The election is next year, and I think these folks will remember these shenanigans. All the opposition needs to do is come up with a plausible replacement.
Clay's agenda pales, fucking pales in the light of his incessant narcissism and self aggrandizing "Power To The People" bullshit.

ReplyDeleteI'd say yes. One is for unspecified capital improvements and the other is for unspecified transportation. Rails could fall under the first and the streetcar could fall under the second.
