Last night there was a common thread in our BREAKING NEWS discussion of yet another tragically violent night on the Kansas City Country Club Plaza . . .
KANSAS CITY MAYOR SLY'S PIZZA PARTY AND PLAYTIME ACTIVITY APPEASEMENT OF VIOLENT TEEN FLASH MOBS HAS FAILED TO PREVENT MIDTOWN ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT VIOLENCE!!!
One week after the next police have dedicated a disproportionate amount of resources to protecting the Plaza from violent teens flash mobs who remain unaccompanied by any adults.
KSHB: Mayor's Night Out hoping to reduce trouble at Country Club Plaza
Like it or not, the problem isn't getting any better.
Last night's crackdown proved that a great many unsupervised Kansas City teens aren't looking for community center fun but instead seem content to fight amongst each other and break the local curfew.
Meanwhile, the crackdown efforts in both the Plaza and Westport (reported FIRST on this blog) have local party places looking more like a demilitarized zone.

9. As the violence escalates, africans blame white racism among police and local government and demand black officers and a black Police Chief who "understands" the black community.
10. The city appoints an african Police Chief in hopes that the violence will begin to subside as a result.*
11. Violence explodes under the incompetence of the black Police Chief who invariably looks the other way and dabbles in trendy, expensive programs that avoid dealing with the actual black violence problem;
12. The final wave of white flight takes place. After this, the only whites who remain are the Grand Torino-like, stubborn old people;
13. African political control is cemented and an african mayor is elected;
14. The city descends into chaos under a majority black city government and spirals into filth, poverty, disease, crime and bankruptcy.
15. Whites without children gentrify 5% of the city, normally a historic district that attracts artists, gays and grads. NY Times writes an article about how the city is experiencing a comeback without stating the obvious which is that it is only in the white-invested area.
Rough, rowdy and unparented brats aren't going to go to "play time" in a community center! The police are going to have to circle the paddy wagons and drill the seriousness of the situation into their and their parents' heads.

The ones that were trouble-making thugs don't go to organzied events. They continue to wander the streets, flocking to large areas like the park near the Plaza (which is really where the problems are).

Harry, good points from the other world. I would offer after #4 that Blacks become the majority on the school board. I would also offer after #5 that the majority of administrators, superintendent and principals are now black. A city is not dead until Blacks control the schools, the police and city hall. These are, to borrow a phrase, inconvenient truths.
