AFTER A CONTROVERSIAL APPOINTMENT, JACKSON COUNTY LEGISLATIVE CHAIR SCOTT BURNETT IS FLIP FLOPPING AND REALLY UPSETTING SOME OF HIS COLLEAGUES!!!

JACKSON COUNTY LEGISLATIVE CHAIR SCOTT BURNETT IS FACING CRITICISM BECAUSE OF HIS SERIOUS LACK OF COMMITMENT!!!
Today, he filed a bit of special legislation kicking the appointment back to the County Executive rather than taking the heat himself. The plan now is to get the decision away from him despite his initial commitment.
"There's no nice way to put this: Scott is being a pussy. I can already see how this going to play out. Scott can't take any kind of heat so he's going to play hot potato with this and the (County Executive) Mike (Sanders) will probably do the same. They act one way when nobody is looking and then another way when people focus on them. Whatever the decision. Scott should realize that he looks a lot worse because of this flip-flop."
As election time draws near, it's important to realize that politics simply can't win no matter how things turn out.

ReplyDeleteSheesh you have the attention span of a gnat, this is the fallout from Berkstressers FOIA last week, he challenged the "appointment" so they are trying to fix it.

He looked a lot worse when he hired James Tindall as his Secretary. The guy is a crook. He can't look any worse than that. He has no integrity.

ReplyDeleteOf course our dear Scott Burnett is retracting his earlier job boondoggle. That was pure sleazeball politics served up by Tindall. I am glad young Berkstresser filed the lawsuit challenging lazy Jean Peters Baker's comatose handling of the felon status of Tindall. Good grief, if Tindall sneaks through a back door in the courthouse he ain't never leaving. This Scotty job was the first step to making him a department head.
As for kicking the problem to Skippy Sanders' desk, good luck! Sanders will do what he always does. Duck and weave, duck and weave!
