  1. God wouldn't keep the church from falling down so he sent a rainbow instead.

Man you are some stupid will believe anything people. You run around thinking their is this all mighty figure in the sky and then wonder why idiots get voted into political office who do nothing.

Wake up and understand God came from a dream that a bunch of sheep fuckers who drank wine all the time had.

  2. Interesting outlook on faith 935.

I am heading to Church, but you are good here in TKC.

  3. Not only was there a rainbow, but even more proof was we found a piece of toast with the image of John the Baptist doing a sheep. It is currently up for bid on eBay if anyone is interested.

  5. HOLY shit. God is only with them when you photograph the ruins from that angle. I hope they see this as a sign to drink poison and handle venomous snakes.

  6. A three-alarm fire at an Allentown church that houses two congregations, Hilltop United Methodist Church and Redeemer of the Mount, ... God hated this church as well.

You Obama lovers will believe anything. A person who claims to love you won't go through hundreds of years killing and destroying that which he claims to have made. Don't see Holder marching on the streets wanting to arrest God

Actually the rainbow is supposed to guide us in the proper direction to lay streetcar tracks.

  8. And maybe it's just a fucking rainbow and doesn't mean shit.

That rainbow appears to end around Van Brunt and Indy avenue. Im pretty sure there isnt a pot of gold there. Street walkers who dress like coal miners, yes. Pot O' gold, not bloody likely.

  12. Jerry Falwell said that the reason that September 11th happened, the reason that God allowed it to happen, was because of certain people in our country. People like, and I'm quoting, 'the pagans,' which is a motorcycle group. Feminists; he brought up feminists. [...] And I couldn't believe it, he said that God had actually talked to him and said, these were the people. That was the reason. It was those people, and that was the reason God allowed this to happen. And I thought, 'That's odd.' Because God had called me twelve hours before, and He said the reason He was upset was because of people like Jerry Falwell

  13. Don't worry, guys!

Sherry "eastsyda4life" DeJanes and Dan "slave train" Coffey assure us that smartkc'a vision for imaginary buses and googlercars will lead to the redevelopment of that prominent corner! Way better than having and efficient rail line running right by there would!

No way this becomes a vacant weedy lot or an empty asphalt parking lot for the next 25 years!

It'll be an awesome new project very soon, just as soon as smartkc'a group of crackerjack transit experts like Bryan stadler and Marsha lerenberg, 2 nearly genius transit experts with years of experience, publish their Facebook/reddit manifesto on free magical mystery buses that are better than the kind if toys being built in EVERY OTHER CITY in America!

    Exciting times in Northeast!

Just remember, doing everything exactly the way we've been doing it for the last 30 years will certainly not yield more depopulation, tax base erosion, blight and poverty! Why would it? Northeast is one the right track and has been since the 80s!

  15. EVERYONE WHO DISGREES WITH ME IS RUSS JOHNSON, guys! hurfdurf, huhuhuhuhu!

(Excpet for the OVERWHELMING majority of voters in Downtown, Midtown, the Westside, the Plaza, Westport...and Brookside/Waldo, too)

getting 70% of low-information eastsiders to vote against "Jim Crow" isn't the lasting victory you think it is...

  17. 1:03,

Get to work on the Magical Mystery Bus plan that goes everywhere and costs no money and is like, WAY EFFING BETTER than any kind of rail system that you promised voters.

You've got you work cut out for you outSMARTKCing every other fucking city in the world, but I'm sure the minds behind the no campaign can figure it out.

I know I trust all my city planning decisions to Teas partiers, corporate St Louis shills, failed lawyers, disgruntled homeowners association presidents, hipster cartoonists, and old fuddy-duddies with nothing better to do than stir shit and spread lies.

  22. Wow only here in the Midwest would this make the news. Its a rainbow from the hose the demolition company continually sprays to keep the dust down.

Could be water droplets in the air which light passes through, refracting, and causes the pattern of colors to be seen in you eyes.

Or what do I know... Could be some mythical bearded man in the sky showing his love for a church at independence and Benton

  23. It's NOT an 80-year-old church. That building housed a variety of businesses all during the years NE was a nice neighborhood. It only became owned by a California Mex church when the neighborhood went to hell. Then, although most illegals work construction jobs, they allowed the building to literally fall down on them.
