This Kansas City Downtown traffic story combines a lot of elements that we've long lamented . . .
- Downtown Kansas City traffic is far more treacherous than most people realize and denizens of the loop need to keep their head on swivel because drivers are often distracted and dangerous.
- This lady might be Superwoman. Seriously, click the video and check out how she just hops up after being SMACKED BY THE KANSAS CITY BUS pretty hard.
- Betting this lady just signed a new phone contract, like so many of us, she's exhibits a slavish devotion to her device.

"Flashing ambulance lights added to the already, hectic scene in busy downtown Kansas City afternoon. The ambulance was there for a woman had been smacked into by a MAX bus on the Troost route. Portions of the video show the bus striking the woman as she crossed 9th Street at Walnut."
Again, because downtown drivers are a strange mix of suburbanites and angry biz people during the day . . . Pedestrians need to keep their head up and eyes open when walking in Downtown Kansas City . . . ReplyDeleteThere was an amazing lack of street smarts last time I drove downtown during lunch hour. They expect cars to stop for them - like the Plaza was years ago. But I'm seeing a race crime in the video, oh sorry, the races would need to be flipped.
